Trump tells Dems to ‘go back to work,’ slams them for involving ‘CNN sleazebag’ John Dean in Mueller report hearings

Democrats are slowly giving in to deeper and deeper fantasies as they embarrass themselves with their takes on the Mueller report.

The actual investigation cost over two years and tens of millions of taxpayer dollars, but it came up with nothing against President Donald Trump. It cleared him of the collusion with Russia he was originally accused of and it makes no definitive conclusion about obstruction of justice, which is the new charge Democrats are obsessively trying to push on the president, collusion being a bit out of style these days.

The latest stunt by the Democrats when it comes to the Mueller report are a series of testimonies set by the House Judiciary Committee. These testimonies will begin this week and will supposedly highlight the magic crimes Democrats see in the Mueller report, but no one else does.

The testimonies are such political theater that John Dean has even been called to testify on Monday. Dean is the former counsel to Richard Nixon. He is widely known for cooperating with authorities against Nixon and accusing Nixon of a coverup following the break in at the 1972 break-in Democratic National Committee headquarters in the Watergate building.

Having Dean involved with the hearings is a clear way for Democrats to try and draw parallels between Trump and Nixon that simply don’t exist in reality.

Dean has already made his thoughts on the Mueller report well known. He said the report is “more damning” than Watergate and it shows “clear obstruction,” a point of view Attorney General William Barr clearly does not agree with.

To make the series of hearings from the House Judiciary Committee even worse, they are being dubbed “Lessons from the Mueller Report: Presidential Obstruction and Other Crimes.” Yawn.

President Donald Trump is understandably a little sick of the political theater when it comes to the Mueller report. He took to Twitter on Sunday evening to tell Congress to “go back to work.” He also called out the involvement of Dean in the upcoming hearings.

“For two years all the Democrats talked about was the Mueller Report, because they knew that it was loaded up with 13 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, later increased to 18. But despite the bias, when the Report came out, the findings were No Collusion and facts that led to No Obstruction,” the president tweeted.

Trump continued by calling Dean a “sleazebag.”

“The Dems were devastated — after all this time and money spent ($40,000,000), the Mueller Report was a disaster for them. But they want a Redo, or Do Over. They are even bringing in @CNN sleazebag attorney John Dean. Sorry, no Do Overs — Go back to work!” he tweeted.

Trump followed up his critiques of Dems and Congress with a fresh attack on the media.

“The Failing @nytimes story on Mexico and Illegal Immigration through our Southern Border has now been proven shockingly false and untrue, bad reporting, and the paper is embarrassed by it. The only problem is that they knew it was Fake News before it went out. Corrupt Media!” he tweeted.
