Former Dem candidate declares herself ‘anti-racist’, has history of vile digs against ‘white people’

If failed Democrat congressional candidate Saira Rao’s perspectives on white people and America are any indicator of the party’s overall stance on these topics, it might as well rename itself to the We Hate White People And America Party.

The irony is that Raio, a failed congressional candidate who lost the Democrat primary for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House last year, identifies as an alleged “anti-racist“:

Yet her own tweets make it clear that she’s the bigot — if not the ultimate bigot. The dichotomy between her “anti-racist” beliefs and racist actions is similar to that seen among Antifa thugs who purport to be anti-fascists, even as their own hideous behavior parallels that of the most notorious fascists and authoritarians in world history.

Here are a recent few tweets from Rao’s Twitter’s feed that perfectly demonstrate her own racism and bigotry:

People who aren’t racist don’t have a habit of starting every other sentence with “white people this” or “white people that.” Just imagine someone posting similar remarks about “black people” or “Jewish people.”

Besides being an unrepentant racist who’s oblivious to her own bigotry, Rao is also someone who hates the country that accepted her parents as immigrants from India, allowed them to thrive & prosper and even made room for her to run for political office:

Her lack of gratitude mirrors that of anti-Semitic Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. During an appearance last December on “Pod Save America,” Omar described the disappointment that overwhelmed her when she arrived in the United States decades ago as a refugee.

She said that during the refugee orientation process, she was shown a video that depicted “happy families, and dinner tables where there is an abundance of food, images of happy young children running off to their school buses … images of a country where people are happy and leading a life that is prosperous.”

But when her family arrived in the states, she discovered that, much like every other country on Earth, America has its own fair share of homeless, particularly in big metropolitans. And that discovery, according to her, means that America is apparently a hellhole.

“I saw panhandlers on the side of the streets, there being trash everywhere, and graffiti on the side of the walls,” she complained. “I remember turning to my father and saying, ‘Well, this doesn’t look like the America you promised!'”

Listen:

This is called entitlement, and it seems to be a common sentiment among left-wing Americans.

“The current reality that people live in … an America where you can’t access the justice system equally because you are born with a different race, or a different gender, or are born into a different class, that isn’t the America that I heard about, that isn’t the America that I watched,” Omar added.

Rao seems to feel similarly about America, though her main beef appears to be with white people. She first drew the national spotlight early last June when she retweeted a racist article from The New York Times about “white people” and shared her agreement with the piece’s bigoted thesis.

Look:

Three weeks later she lost the Colorado Democrat primary to then-incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette by only about 48,000 votes:

That a whopping 31.8 percent of local Democrats voted for her suggests that her repugnant views on both white people and America are more mainstream than Democrat Party leaders and their allies in the left-wing media would care to admit.

What’s fascinating about Rao, in particular, is how oblivious she is to her own hypocrisy.

“I want white people to listen. To just listen to what we’re saying, and not be fragile, and not take it personally, and not get defensive,” she said last year to Colorado Public Radio in defense of her ignorant opinions.

Yet Rao seems suspiciously unwilling to listen to any of her critics viewpoints:

While her sentiment above sounds reasonable, keep in mind that to her, virtually everybody who either disagrees with her or happens to be white is a “white supremacist,” including Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi:

You know what? Forget being the We Hate White People And America Party. Maybe the Democrat Party should just be the Crazy People Party!
