Rapper Kanye West torched the mainstream media and intolerant leftists during a May 31 Netflix interview with David Letterman. West says the left-wing press gaslights the public to brainwash them into adopting their political views.

“We’re pushed into it. We’re being driven crazy,” Kanye said. “We forget who we even are. We’re completely bullied by the media — both celebrities and the masses — to think certain things and have group thought.”

The racist left calls Kanye a ‘token Negro’ for supporting Trump

West is a Trump supporter who has been viciously attacked and smeared by the media and by leftists as an “Uncle Tom” and a “token Negro” for saying he “loves Donald Trump.” Kanye and Trump have been friends for years — preceding his tenure as POTUS.

Kanye says the media foments anti-Trump outrage to the point where Trump supporters get verbally abused and even physically attacked.

West explained: “You’re scared to voice, ‘I’ve got an opinion that might not be of the crowd.’ We don’t have to feel the same way about things.”

He added: “This is my thing with Trump: We don’t have to feel the same way. But we have the right to feel what we feel. And we have the right to have a conversation, a dialogue, not a diatribe about it.”

Kanye: Trump supporters get beaten up for wearing a MAGA hat

David Letterman interjected, saying that seeing celebrities like Kanye express their support for the sitting United States president are “hurting people who are already being hurt [by Trump’s policies].”

West countered with: “But have you ever been beaten up in high school for wearing the wrong hat? Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters [and treat them like enemies of America]! You can’t just go and wear the hat.”

Kanye added that he works with some people in the entertainment industry who voted for Trump but admits they’re “scared for life to tell anyone.”

Letterman tried to embarrass Kanye by interjecting: “Did you vote for Trump?”

West replied: “I’ve never voted in my life.”

Letterman snarked: “Then you don’t have a say in this.”

OH REALLY, DAVID? Reminder: Failed kneeling NFL star Colin Kaepernick never voted in his life, either.

But that hasn’t stopped him from trashing President Trump and weighing in on politics. Nor has it stopped the alt-left media from exalting him as a civil rights icon.

Kanye West: SNL bullied me for wearing a MAGA hat

Regardless of what entertainment has-beens like David Letterman say, Kanye says he won’t be bullied into disavowing his personal opinions or his friendship with President Trump.

This is not the first time that West has spoken out about being bullied and harassed for being a Trump supporter. As BizPac Review reported, Kanye said he was bullied by “Saturday Night Live” executives for wearing a MAGA hat when he hosted SNL in September 2018.

“They bullied me backstage. They said, ‘Don’t go out there with that hat on.’ They bullied ME! Okay, Imma put my Superman cape on, because you can’t tell me what to do.”

“Blacks want always Democrats. You know, it’s like their plan: to take fathers out of the home and promote welfare. Does anybody know about that? That’s the Democratic plan.”

Before the media brainwashed and bullied the public into hating President Trump, he was extremely popular among rappers, and was frequently spotlighted in their songs.
