Senator Lindsey Graham slammed the “mentality” of Democrats who have relentlessly been attacking President Donald Trump and now accuse him of a “cover-up.”
The South Carolina Republican called out House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and “the people she is in charge of” who have effectively “lost their mind” in the pursuit of something to hold against the president, speaking during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Friday.

“What is unavoidable is she will lose her job if she doesn’t embrace impeachment because the people she is in charge of have lost their mind,” Graham said.
“A cover-up? Remember Bob Mueller? Remember that guy? The guy everybody trusted. He will be fair to the country, he’ll be fair to the president,” he added, highlighting the many ways the White House cooperated with the Mueller investigation.
After accusing Trump of being involved in a “cover-up” and angering the president into prematurely cutting off a meeting to discuss infrastructure spending, Pelosi continued her performance by saying she prays for him while questioning his mental acuity.

“I wish that his family or his administration or his staff would have an intervention for the good of the country,” she told reporters at a news conference in the Capitol, calling his anger over their game-playing another “temper tantrum.”
Graham slammed Democrats as “crazy people” who would never be satisfied until they destroyed Trump’s life.
“What did Donald Trump cover-up regarding Mueller? Nothing.” he asked. “Now, if he’s fighting back against a bunch of crazy people trying to destroy his life, that is not covering anything up.”
He accused the House Judiciary Committee of wanting “to go through everything and do it all over again to get a different outcome.”
“You’re not covering anything up when you’re fighting a bunch of politicians trying to destroy you and your family. When it came time to cooperate with an independent, man of the law, President Trump never claimed executive privilege,” Graham argued. “Here is what I would say is being covered up: The division in the Democratic Party. When she said there is no division in the House, either she is delusional or she is misleading us.”
Graham predicted Trump will win reelection in 2020 because of the Democrats’ focus on impeachment.
He also spoke about Trump’s memo on Thursday directing Attorney General William Barr to declassify any documents on any Trump 2016 campaign surveillance, predicting that “not one Democrat will give a damn” about them.
“You’re gonna find out the mentality of the people investigating the president. You’re gonna find out exactly what they did, you’re gonna find out [George] Papadopoulos was not working with the Russians. They knew early on he had no contacts with the Russians,” Graham said.
“The bottom line is there’s gonna be a lot of information about they were warned about, still this is a bad guy you can’t trust him. They blew through every stop sign,” he added.
“I’m gonna look at all of it to make sure it never happens again,” the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman said. “I want to make sure we have FISA laws that can detect when somebody is giving the court a bunch of garbage.”
He also noted that he would be making sure there would be rules put in place so someone “just can’t open up a counterintelligence investigation on a presidential candidate without having a good reason.”
The FISA court is important, Graham noted “because the people are out to get us,” but “if you can take the law into your own hands for political purposes, it is not good for democracy.”
Graham also offered a defense for himself after being portrayed by the left as someone who just praises the president and does what he asks.
“If I’m helping the president it is good for the country, because I think I got something to offer to him,” Graham said. “He is doing a really good job. If you want a strong military you got one. If you want a humming economy you got one. If you want to take on the enemy differently than Obama did – that’s exactly what we are doing.”
