With Donald Trump Jr. being every bit as combative as his famous father, if not more so, the idea of him penning a book is sure to have folks chomping at the bit to read it.

And that anticipation can officially commence, as Politico reported Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s eldest son has signed a book deal with Center Street Books, with the finished product expected to be published before the end of the year.

The book is expected to focus on “politics, current events and the future of the MAGA movement,” according to sources.

“Publisher Rolf Zettersten and Center Street editorial director Kate Hartson negotiated the deal with attorney and literary agent Tom Winters, who represented the president’s son,” Politico reported.

With dad up for reelection in less than 18 months, the timing of the book couldn’t be more perfect.

After all, who’s going to deliver more positive press than the president’s namesake?

Trump Jr. gives no quarter and takes no prisoners on social media, unloading on his family’s critics, which could make for a scandalous tome. At least, for the opposition.

Having reached a deal to appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee for what will be his second appearance on Capitol Hill to answer questions, this coming as a result of a controversial subpoena from Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., chairman of the committee, perhaps Trump Jr. will tell potential readers what he really thinks about the unexpected hit from a Republican lawmaker.

President Trump told reporters his son was being treated “very unfair.”

“It’s really a tough situation because my son spent, I guess, over 20 hours testifying about something that [special counsel Robert] Mueller said was 100 percent OK,” the president said at the White House. “And now they want him to testify again. I don’t know why. I have no idea why. But it seems very unfair to me.”

With things appearing to be going well with ex-Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, this relationship could get some ink too.

A dedicated father, it’s not a stretch to think Trump Jr. will include some mention of his five children.

Trump Jr. seems to have a new favorite two-word saying that he tends to use when on the campaign stump for his father, so it will be interesting to see if it makes it into the title of his new book.

The phrase was used recently as he expressed his thoughts on the outcome of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Speaking of titles, the hashtag #DonJrBookTitles was trending on Twitter after the news of his book deal got out, which suggests the awesome power of the Trump name.

Unfortunately, any mention of the Trump name turns Twitter into a toxic wasteland, where quinquagenarian adolescents like Rick Wilson get their jollies in a desperate quest for attention.
