Hundreds of migrants storm Paris airport with demands, shutting down travel: ‘France doesn’t belong to the French!’

Turns out, turning politics on its head is not exclusively an American phenomenon.

Hundreds of illegal immigrants stormed the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on Sunday, shutting down a terminal and stopping all travel as they demanded to meet with Prime Minister Édouard Philippe.

If that wasn’t egregious enough, a protester was heard shouting into a loudspeaker: “France does not belong to the French! Everyone has a right to be here!”

But then, much of Europe pretty much did away with borders a long time ago.

A video of the incident was shared online by freelance journalist Sotiri Dimpinoudis, who added that the illegal immigrants “won’t let people board their flights until they meet and talk with the prime minister Édouard Philippe.”

The protest was organized by the migrant support group “La Chapelle Debout,” the New York Post reported — members reportedly call themselves “Black Vests,” which is a play on the “Yellow Vests movement” in France over tax reforms.

(French citizens are required to carry yellow vests in their vehicles for emergencies, the paper noted.)

The group said in a statement they want to meet with Philippe over France’s asylum policy and the leaders of Air France — they are demanding that the airline “stop any financial, material, logistical or political participation in deportations,” according to The Post.

They also promised future actions.

Dimpinoudis said in subsequent tweets that only one terminal was shut down and that the illegal immigrants are from African descent and are demanding legal status, with no plans to leave the airport.

“All of these undocumented immigrants are from African descent and are demanding that prime minister Édouard Philippe, will give all of them permanent legal status and papers to stay in #France. And saying we will not leave Charles de Gaulle Airport in #Paris,” he tweeted.

Here are more videos of the protest:

It’s been said that America can look to Europe to see its future in a few decades, and we are already struggling with antiquated asylum laws.

With anywhere from 10 to 20 million illegal immigrants in the U.S., if not more, to see them organize and become as emboldened as the protesters in Paris would be a sight to behold.

And occupying our airports is already on the radar of the open-border left in America.

Look no further than democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who spoke about storming LaGuardia Airport in a 2018 interview with Democracy Now!.

“Our nation is in a moral crisis,” Ocasio-Cortez said about illegal immigrant children being separated from their parents on the southern border, according to Newsweek.

“We have to have a rapid response,” she said. “And I think every day that we go on, especially a day when something that heinous happens, we have to occupy all of it. We need to occupy every airport. We need to occupy every border. We need to occupy every ICE office until those kids are back with their parents, period.”

“We have to show people that we’re willing to walk the walk,” she said. “We need to be ready to drop everything and go straight to LaGuardia airport. We need to be ready to drop everything and go straight to our local ICE agency.”

But then, it’s still dawning on us that immigration chaos is a progressive construct, carefully designed to help further their destructive hard left agenda.
