A day after Democrat presidential candidate Robert ‘Beto’ O’Rourke begged far-left America for forgiveness for his alleged “white male privilege,” the gaffe-prone 2020 contender live-streamed himself receiving a haircut at a Spanish barbershop in El Paso, Texas.
Of course, because nothing says “I’m aware of my privilege” better than purposefully exploiting minority Americans to score points with the identity-politics obsessed left.
(*rolling of eyes*)
Shared to Facebook on Wednesday, the live-stream garnered widespread criticism and mockery, with even far-left Washington Post commentator Jennifer Rubin chiming in to throw some shade:
stop. Just stop. He’s learned nothing.
— Jennifer Rubin (@JRubinBlogger) May 15, 2019
Apparently, he’s an extremely slow learner.

Where to even begin …
First, O’Rourke clearly doesn’t understand the concept of TMI: Too Much Information. Nobody cares about his haircuts. Nor is anyone interested to learn that he has hair in his ears.
“We’re cutting out some of this ear hair you get when you get older,” he proudly announced in the video. “It grows out of your ears, and if you don’t get it cut, it can be nasty.”
Gross!
“Does anyone really need to see this? Makes him look like a child putting this kind of junk online,” one critic opined on Twitter.
Doesn’t it, though?
Look:

Beto O’Rourke is livestreaming his haircut. At one point, he notes that his earhair is getting trimmed. Something he says needs to be done as you get older. pic.twitter.com/um040cwpTU

I’m old enough to remember when grooming wasn’t for public consumption

Beto O’Riurke should have hired better campaign advisors. Or waited until he matured to run. ?
— m.a.wuebker (@ammamaw) May 16, 2019
Omg. They are grasping for anything to get attention. ??♀️
I feel like I’m watching some teen on Instagram. – look at me, look at me!
What an idiot!

Well, that is the guy who thought that teeth cleanings were for public consumption…
— Miranda Yaver (@mirandayaver) May 15, 2019
The latter tweet referenced the stunt the 2020 contender pulled in January, when he live-streamed himself receiving a dental check-up to connect with his peeps. *facepalm*

It’s unclear how long it’ll be until he live-streams himself using the restroom … *cough*.
What’s clear is that he’s willing to do anything to resuscitate his dying campaign. Once a possible front-runner, O’Rourke has since descended to the bottom of the Democrat clown car.

So, to “reboot” his failing campaign, Beto O’Rourke livestreamed himself getting a haircut and having a massage today.
I kid you not – nobody could possibly make this stuff up.#NOBETO https://t.co/zGtcl8UTMY https://t.co/ptfNKiPoDU

Like other 2020 hopefuls, including Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand and Kamala Harris, the Texas native is likewise willing to do anything to show himself off as a “regular person.” Except regular people won’t live-stream their hygiene routines to the entire world!
@ewarren beer. @KamalaHarris jerk chicken. And this.
Just so you are all aware.
The American public is not stupid.
These are just desperate attempts to show that you are just “regular” people.
New flash: You’re NOT.
We can see right through you. ? ?

Someone needs to talk to @BetoORourke about his social media strategy. Live streaming a haircut doesn’t make him interesting, relevant or in touch with regular people. Now if he could answer policy questions with some level of detail he’d be relevant.
— Lovinglf Designs (@lovinglf) May 16, 2019
Unfortunately, O’Rourke has no policy proposals except for one — and that is to stop the world from spontaneously combusting in 10 years. *facepalm* OK, maybe him shutting up and talking about his hygiene routines isn’t such a bad idea after all, in retrospect.
In fact, despite the bipartisan criticism he received for his haircut stunt, some Americans actually liked it. Why? You’d have to ask a clinical psychologist for that.
“Beto is just a guy, like all other regular guys who get haircuts! He’s not like ‘other guys’ who spend hours in front of the mirror combing over their bald spot with their dyed blonde hair…,” one supporter wrote on Twitter, clearly referencing President Donald Trump and his beautiful hair.

I love how Beto rolls! He is so awesome! It’s funny to see the haters hate. Lol! They can’t put him in their box! #BetoForPresident pic.twitter.com/pOLXC5xrfS

For everyone bitching about the arrogance of Beto showing a vid re: his haircut:
1) Watch the video. He’s talking about issues that affect the Hispanic community, with his Hispanic barber.
2) Suck it. pic.twitter.com/LGYfjmUsD9
— ❄️Snitty Snowflake❄️? (@DemChick777) May 15, 2019
No one’s going to care about this or the hair cut at this point, don’t worry, this is all superficial stuff that only the media cares about and D.C. elites give a crap about. It actually shows transparency on Beto’s part and normal people (real people) will be fine with that tbh.
— RSuramin (@RSuramin) May 15, 2019
Perhaps … though White House counselor Kellyanne Conway disagrees.
In a scorching tweet posted Wednesday evening, she argued that O’Rourke needs to either “go big” or “go home,” because nobody wants to “look in your mouth” or “hear about your ear hairs.”
Look:
Oh No Beto – stop forcing us to look in your mouth at the dentist or hear about your ear hairs at the barber shop.
If you can’t go big, go home and “help” raise your kids. https://t.co/IFDD7A6q5i
