The look on the face of an unhinged feminist when she realizes that, perhaps for the first time in her life, she is going to be held accountable for her actions, is absolutely priceless.
It all began when the woman stole a sign from a pro-life protester on the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill campus, feeling empowered to do so because she did not agree with the message.
Outside of Portland, Ore., or Oakland, Calif., nowhere in America will you encounter intolerance for opposing views quicker than college campuses, as most administrators have either surrendered the battlefield to unhinged liberals or have become one with them.
The incident was captured on video and shared online by the pro-life group Created Equal, with the sign being snatched from Austin Beigel, an intern with the group.
The woman is told that she is “committing theft right now,” as she walks away with the sign.
Unfortunately for her, there was a police officer on the scene and Beigel or another member of the group called out to the cop that the woman was stealing the sign.
When confronted by the officer, he asked the woman if she stole the sign.
“I just moved it,” the feminist replied.
She was quickly corrected by the cop, who said, “Well, you just took it.”
Beigel tells the cop that the woman ripped it out of his hands and she rats herself out when the cop asked, “Why’d you rip it out of his hands?”
“Because,” she replied, while tapping on the sign. “This restricts women’s rights.”
While it may be debatable whether a sign holds that kind of power, her admission that she ripped it out of Beigel’s hands certainly restricted her right to move about freely as the officer soon placed her under arrest — to her utter astonishment.
“I can’t believe ya’ll protect them,” she tells the officer as she tried to walk away.
He quickly stops the woman and tells her she is being detained.
She then argues with the cop that she did not steal the sign because Beigel now has it back.
“Yeah, because I got it from you!” the officer fired back, before explaining to her that she does not have the right to take someone’s property.
He would also share another novel concept that’s foreign to the left.
“They have a right to be here,” the officer said. “If you don’t like their speech, you can go away. You don’t have to watch it.”
Her lesson for the day was just beginning, as the cop patiently explained to her that she could also ignore them.
“If you ignore them, that takes away their power,” he added.
The knowledge shared being greater than much of what young Americans are being taught by liberal professors.
“This is why women have such a problem getting abortions in North Carolina,” she told the cop, as she wiped tears from her eyes. “And y’all just let them get away with this sh*t.”
As the officer places her under arrest, she desperately asked, “Is there something else that I can do.”
It would be comical how unprepared young liberal Americans are for life… if it wasn’t so sad.
Created Equal President Mark Harrington told The Daily Wire in a statement the woman’s surprise is an indication of how comfortable the left is with “pro-abortion violence” on college campuses.
“Students being groomed on college campuses to be leaders, writers, and thinkers of the Left are increasing in censorship and violence against those with whom they disagree,” Harrison said. “Their surprise when held accountable indicates college campuses have become safe spaces for pro-abortion violence. Students at UNC and campuses like it are in dire need of remedial First Amendment training.”
