In a blistering monologue Saturday evening, Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro first accused congressional Democrats of metaphorically stealing the House of Representatives and then bashed both them and the “prince of darkness” for the constitutional crisis they have engendered.
Who’s the “prince of darkness?” More on that later …
“They’ve stolen the House — the people’s House,” she said on FNC’s “Justice with Jeanine.” “That hallowed chamber our forefathers created to both represent the people as well as be closest to the people. They’ve hijacked it to maintain power for themselves.”
“They don’t work for or represent you. In fact, they obstruct the work that they were sent to do by you so they can score their own political points and get the revenge they so desperately seek, because they hate our commander-in-chief. These radicals who have forfeited their job representing you, continue to resist, create havoc and claim constitutional crisis.”

Was she wrong? While left-wing commentators might claim so, congressional Democrats’ behavior since stepping back into power in January seems to suggest she was right.
Instead of pushing ahead with any meaningful agenda or legislation, the Democrats have remained eerily fixated on President Donald Trump and the Russian collusion delusion conspiracy theory. Then as soon as special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation concluded and it was revealed that collusion never occurred, Democrats simply switched their focus to obstruction of justice.
And now, months later, the buzz word of the day is “constitutional crisis.” Why? Because Attorney General Bill Barr is allowing Democrats to review only 98 percent of Mueller’s report.
“Constitutional crisis? How!?” Pirro fumed in fury after playing a clip of congressional Democrats trotting out the “constitutional crisis” canard. “Because they can’t get the full Mueller report? Are they all stupid? They have 98% of the full report!”
“And I got news for you bozos — you weren’t even entitled to any of it. The report was written for the attorney general by the special counsel. The attorney general decided to issue a four-page conclusion and offered skeptical Democrats a secure facility to see the whole report.”
Yet not a single Democrat took Barr up on his offer. Instead, Democrats pestered Barr to release the full report and violate federal laws that prohibit the unveiling of grand jury testimony. They’ve now gone so far as to hold him in contempt of Congress and even threaten him with jail time.
Meanwhile, not a single Democrat has expressed interest in investigating what Pirro fervently believes is the real constitutional crisis created by former President Barack Obama’s administration.

“The only constitutional crisis is the one created by Obama administration officials of a false Russia collusion, spun by that master of deceit himself, Jim Comey, the disgraced former head of the FBI. We find out this week that the FBI was on full notice that the Steele dossier was fake even before they brought it to a FISA judge and used it as the sole basis to spy on the Trump campaign.”
“That prince of darkness himself, Comey, knew all along that the dossier was a fraud, even admitting to the president in January of 2017 that it was unverified.”
True.
Pirro continued by recounting the details of the ongoing FISA scandal, talking about the Democrats’ widely panned contempt vote against Barr and then discussing the 2020 election.
“So Bill Barr is now held in contempt by the same Congress that says to hell with the American people and their word — we want to muddy up Barr, so that when he starts indicting us, we can say it’s all political?” she said in exasperation.
Many suspect that is why the left — including the media — have been aiming their fury at the AG. The belief is they fear his just-started investigation into the Obama administration’s alleged criminality.

“It’s no wonder that almost 80 percent of Americans do not approve of the work Congress is doing,” Pirro continued, slamming the Democrats for perpetually playing political games. “I personally think that if these guys don’t do the work we sent them there for, they shouldn’t get a salary. They shouldn’t get a pension. Nor should they be allowed to go on junkets and get free healthcare.”
She concluded by urging her viewers to get involved, particularly in the 2020 election.
“[S]tart gearing up for 2020” she implored. “We need a House of Representatives that represents the people in this great nation — the people who want to remake America and maintain their own power. God help us, and God help us if we elect these same people and they stay in control of our country.”
