Former Obama Comm’s Dir. Jen Psaki suggests Nadler ‘stop following the rules’: ‘We’re dealing with Donald Trump’

It wouldn’t be surprising if the Democrat leaders began all their meetings chanting in unison something like, ‘We don’t need no stinkin’ rules,’ as the party’s members surely seem to believe that the rule of law only applies to Republicans. Still, it’s not that often when they slip up and publicly proclaim that rules are made to be broken, such as Jen Psaki said Wednesday, live on CNN.

“We need to more rule-breakers on the Democratic side and not play by the game that has always been played,” Psaki declared. Psaki was White House communications director in the Obama White House and these days, she is appropriately a paid, liberal CNN contributor.

“I will say, in this case, Nadler … I hope he’s not following the rules,” Psaki said before adding the caveat, “Yes, the legal rules.”

“But we need to be more rule-breakers on the Democratic side and not play by the game that has always been played, because we’re dealing with Donald Trump and we’re dealing with an administration that has not always played by it,” she continued.

“He was pretty tough today, I think. And what he’s (Nadler) trying to do … he’s trying to make clear that he is not going to stand by as the chairman of this Judiciary Committee and accept not sharing documents, not being transparent with information. He’s going to keep pushing. He doesn’t want to give any leg on it because otherwise, they’re going to push back.”

Rules, laws … such a bore. Especially when there is a revolution to stir up.
