A Democrat lawmaker who was caught on film first harassing an elderly pro-life woman and then attempting to doxx three pro-life teens has issued an apology … just not to his victims.
In a video posted to his Twitter account on Tuesday, Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims instead apologized to Planned Parenthood for interfering in their baby killing work.
Watch:
“I’ve lived across the street or next door to this particular Planned Parenthood — one of the most heavily protested Planned Parenthoods in America — for the last 15 years,” he began.
“I’ve seen men and women and teens try to go there for routine healthcare — for checkups, for Pap smears, for breast exams, for STD screens and yes, for abortions.”
Planned Parenthood’s own records show that the perpetually scandal-plagued organization performs less than two percent of all breast exams, less than one percent of all Pap smears and zero percent of all mammograms. Conversely, it performs 34.9 percent of all abortions in America.
Watch a video of him harassing the aforementioned elderly woman below:
“I’ve also spent the last seven years serving as a volunteer patient escort at this Planned Parenthood. And I have seen first hand the insults, the slurs, the attacks and the racism that those protesters aim at mostly young girls going there for clinical care,” his apology continued.
As noted earlier, Planned Parenthood barely provides any actual clinical care. Moreover, it’s unclear why, if so many Planned Parenthood patients have been harassed by protesters, there appear to be no videos of such interactions. Instead the Internet is littered with videos of pro-abortion activists harassing, berating and sometimes even attacking pro-life protesters.
Case in point from last October:
“This isn’t the first time I’ve been attacked,” pro-life activist Marie-Claire Bissonnette, the victim seen in the video above, noted in a LifeSiteNews column at the time.
“Rocks have been thrown at me. I’ve been spat upon multiple times and pushed. Men have aggressively asked how I would like it if they raped me and forced me to have an abortion.”
It’s unclear how Sims feels about this sort of actual harassment.
“What I should have shown you in that video was protesters gathered together to pray at — not to silently pray for — people coming in and out of Planned Parenthood as they intercepted them and harassed them,” he continued in his thus-far fact-free rant.
It’s unclear why he considers the act of praying for another human being to be harassment.
Watch him attempting to doxx three pro-life teen girls below:
“I’ve seen women and girls circle that block two, three, four times before finally driving away, because they know they weren’t going to get in because of those protesters,” his apology continued.
“But as a Planned Parenthood volunteer and as a supporter, I fully understand, respect and appreciate the non-engagement policy that they have, and I would never want to do anything that interfered with the care that they are providing to their patients.”
“As an activist and an advocate, I know why pushing back against harassment and discrimination are a must, even when they’re uncomfortable, but last week, I wasn’t a patient escort. I was a neighbor and a concerned citizen and I was aggressive. I know that two wrongs don’t make a right, and I can do better, and I will do better for the men and women of Pennsylvania.”
His “non-apology,” as it’s being called, has not been well received. As of Wednesday morning, his Twitter video boasted only 3000 likes but over 26,000 scathing comments such as these:
Non-apology non-accepted.
You must love being the king of ratio.

I think this is an apology, but I didn’t hear the word “sorry” for harassing and doxxing girls and women

Planned parenthood turned me away when I went to them for prenatal care. They said they would only do an ultrasound if I wanted an abortion. As I left, a sweet little old lady approached me and asked if I needed help. She gave me the resources I needed to care for myself and baby

How do u go about deciding which women deserve ur manly heroism?
Isn’t it sexist 2 assume women need ur patriarchal help? Aren’t u using ur white male privilege 2 suppress women outside PP from having a voice?
U don’t care about women. U care about ur cult ideology. Period.

There were two videos, not just one. You tried to dox minors. This is just you glorifying yourself while excusing your attempt to deny women the freedom to speak and assemble because you disagree with their view. Not cool, dude. https://t.co/RkvrbJ7cxL

He didn’t apologize to the Pennsylvanian women he disrespected. He didn’t apologize for attacking Christians… couldn’t even apologize to the “Easter worshippers” nothing. He doesn’t feel guilt for what he did. Just fear for his career. Pennsylvania voters, you know what to do. https://t.co/Y2pbbkdpfk

You can do it.#WarOnWomen https://t.co/wxVsUK3hsK— Mrs. Rutter ™ (@lindarutter) May 7, 2019
You will fiercely attempt to cover your own ass without actually apologizing for your words or actions.
Oh, and if you really protected a woman’s right to make the best choices for her health and her body, you’d support her #2A rights. https://t.co/1pCMWp2mbG

“I will fiercely protect a woman’s right to make the best choices for her health & her body, unimpeded…”
UNLESS she’s protesting outside Planned Parenthood. She needs to be doxxed and sent straight to Gitmo then. https://t.co/dcCCBe3DJY

Representative Brian Sims:
1: First offers $100 to anyone who can help him dox 3 teenage girls
2: Then he bullies and verbally attacks an old woman for 10 minutes
3: And now he REFUSES TO APOLOGIZE!HOW IS HE STILL ALLOWED TO BE ON TWITTER????#ResignBrianSims https://t.co/Xa9IGILZUn

In response to Sims’ hateful antics, pro-life activists have reported scheduled a massive rally outside the abortion clinic for this upcoming Friday afternoon. It’s slated to start at 11 am.
The rally is planned for 11 AM on Friday at the Planned Parenthood on 1144 Locust St in Philly. A bunch of different pro-life groups reached out to me minutes after I sent that original tweet and this all came together quickly. We invite @BrianSimsPA to come with his camera!
