White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders had a few … no, actually many choice words about the crazy left in a Saturday interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, to include addressing the idiocy of embracing socialism, “a system that they are literally watching crumble before their very eyes; particularly when they have one that’s working so well.”

“I think the left is going nuts, Sarah, because we now have an (Attorney General) who is strong and they can’t deal with it,” said Watters, after playing a clip showing “Danang” Dick Blumenthal get handed his butt by AG Barr on the Senate floor. “Now they’re calling him a liar, after (themselves) lying about collusion for two years, which is pretty rich. What do you think is going on here?”

“Jesse, I do have one correction … I hate to correct you on your show, but you said that the left is going nuts. The left has been nuts for a long time. They can’t let it go. But particularly over the last two years, they’ve pushed this outrageous claim against the President. It’s absurd. And Bill Barr has done an excellent job of pointing that out and showing them just how ridiculous they can be over the course of this week when they continued to badger and pepper him with questions … and he answered one after the other and pushed back against some of the more ridiculous claims that they’ve made.”

Watters talked about the amazing economic numbers that came out this past week, with the best employment numbers in 49 years, while economists continue to be surprised by it all, quarter after quarter.

“It’s amazing that they continue to be surprised that the Trump economy is doing so well,” Sanders said. “I can tell you we’re not surprised because we know that the President’s policies are working. We know that deregulation is a good thing, we know that tax cut are a good thing. The president has created the environment where businesses want to actually do business in America again, and it is a great thing to see. I think we’re going to continue to see a lot more of it from this president as long as we have the ability to keep pushing his agenda and his policies for the next six years.”

“Democrats now are running on socialism … a lot of them running for president,” Watters pointed out, while also mentioning the collapse of the socialist Venezuelan economy. “The Democrats want to take that … the success of capitalism and turn it around and have socialism in America. How do you think that’s going to play?”

“It is truly mind-boggling. I don’t know who would vote for a system that they are literally watching crumble before their very eyes; particularly when they have one that’s working so well,” Sanders said.

“Under this president, the American economy is booming. We’re thriving and we’re doing better than we’ve done in a long time. Why would you change that?,” she asked. “I don’t think America will. I think they love the President, they love what’s happening, and they love that they have more money in their pocket to spend on the weekends. I think it’s a great thing what the president is doing.

Watters also took the opportunity to remind Sanders she needed to “be careful” after the President pretended to fire Sanders at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, recently because of her skyrocketing popularity.

“I was taken aback,” said Sanders, “but thankfully the President has a great sense of humor and was just kidding, and when I showed up on Monday, I still had a place here at the White House. I couldn’t be happier and I’m proud of everything that he’s doing and I think he’s got a great story to tell, and I’m just glad to be a little part of it.”
