Recently published case files from the FBI’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appear to show that certain evidence from that investigation has gone “missing.”
Reportedly released last week by the FBI itself, the records contain internal emails sent only three months ago in which it’s revealed that a CD that contained notes from an Aug. 3, 2015 meeting with the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community has gone “missing.”
One email starts by saying that certain “Special Agents (SAs)” have been gathering and captioning evidence “in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)” request.

While the nature and origin of the request isn’t identified, it’s presumed the SAs were responding to a request from the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch.
The email continues by revealing that on Feb. 6, certain SAs opened a box that “contained a CD with a crack in it.” The agents tried to make a copy of the CD but were unable to.
“On or about February 6, 2019, SAs [redacted] opened [redacted] CYBER-1A27, which contained a CD with a crack on it (a damaged CD),” the email reads.
“SA attempted to copy the damaged CD at the WFO [Washington Field Office] Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) self-service area, but was not able to do so.”
The SAs then tried to contact the SA who took the original notes. That effort also failed.
The FBI lost the notes from a 8/3/2015 meeting with the ICIG.

“On February 6, 2019, SA [redacted] contacted SA [redacted] regarding the notes,” another email reads. “SA [redacted] explained he documented all relevant case materials before leaving the case and did not retain any notes or other case materials. As such WFO CI-13 considers the item missing and will enclose this document [the email?] into 1A4 as a placeholder until the missing item is located.”
In other words, this evidence — whatever it may be — has inexplicably been destroyed (someone or something cracked the CD) or gone “missing,” as the federal agency would prefer to put it.
What it’s unclear what aspect of the Clinton investigation these notes had covered, what’s known is that Clinton has a track record of destroying evidence.
Around March of 2015, it was learned that the then-Democrat presidential candidate had “unilaterally decided to wipe her server clean and permanently delete all emails from her personal server,” as noted at the time by then-Congressman Trey Gowdy.
When asked later that year by Fox News’ Ed Henry about wiping her server clean, she tried to feign ignorance by innocently asking, “Like with a cloth or something?”
Clinton also reportedly ordered her aides to discard her old SIM cards and destroy her Blackberrys.
As a reminder, the investigation into Clinton concerned her unethical and potentially illegal use of a private email server to transmit classified State Department intelligence.
Because of her past history, some believe she’s likely responsible for the broken CD. Others believe the culprit is disgraced former FBI Director James Comey and his minions.

A cracked CD can be recovered but it is not cheap or quick. Now, it a hammer is taken to it and they pour bleach on it and then send it thru a CD shredder, then the data may be lost.

First, nobody in a million years believes the notes were lost and the cd was accidentally cracked of the Hillary interview. They were destroyed by design as her phones and laptops. What Comey and his cabal did to the FBI’s reputation is unforgivable, maybe unrepairable.

Keep in mind that Comey is no longer in charge of the FBI. That being said, some believe that his so-called “Deep State” goons could still be active in current Director Chris Wray’s bureau.
The most notorious of these goons, disgraced former special agent Peter Strzok, has long since departed. However, last year Congressman Louie Gohmert revealed that Comey and Strzok had both done nothing after being informed by the IGIC’s team that Clinton’s server had been hacked.
Strzok “was told by the intelligence community inspector general’s investigator Frank Rutger that they had found an anomaly in the emails going to and from Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized private server,” Gohmert said during an appearance last July on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
“And it was when they forensically examined the anomaly, they found embedded information, and it was a foreign entity, not Russia, but a foreign entity that was getting every single one of her, over thirty thousand, emails. …Â the intelligence community, IG, brought it to their attention and they did nothing.”
