Omar fires ‘cheap’ gender and race victim-cries when Mike Pence calls her out for her uneducated comment

Newbie Congresswoman Ilhan Omar used the worn-out race and gender cards in response to Vice President Mike Pence, who criticized her ignorant remarks about the ongoing unrest in Venezuela.

Omar — a Muslim refugee who was rescued from war-torn Somalia by an American Christian church — has blamed the United States for the citizens’ uprisings in Venezuela.

Venezuelans have been protesting to unseat socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro and replace him with Juan Guaidó, who is recognized as the rightful president by 54 countries, including the United States.

Ilhan Omar: You can’t criticize me, I’m a victim

A triggered Omar tweeted: “Women of color have heard this before. Instead of ‘We disagree,’ it’s ‘She doesn’t know what she’s talking about.’ They have to make us feel small. This from an Administration that thinks climate change is a Chinese hoax.”

VP Pence: Stop blaming the United States for everything

Omar was reacting to remarks Pence had made earlier in the day, when he said Omar doesn’t “what she’s talking about” when she blamed the United States for the tensions in Venezuela.

Pence said brutal totalitarian leader Nicolas Maduro is to blame for destroying the once-wealthy Venezuela:

“Nicolas Maduro is a socialist dictator who has taken what was one of the most prosperous nations in this hemisphere and brought it literally to a level of deprivation and oppression and poverty that we have never seen.

Nine out of 10 people in Venezuela live in poverty. Three million people have fled Venezuela. That’s not a result of U.S. policies. That’s the result of dictatorship and socialism that has been imposed on people of Venezuela by Nicolas Maduro.”

Pence also slammed Ilhan Omar on Twitter for choosing “socialism over freedom.”

Crenshaw: Omar’s constant grievance-mongering is ‘really cheap’

Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw said Ilhan Omar’s casual invocation of the race and gender cards whenever anyone criticizes her policies trivializes actual racism and sexism.

Moreover, Crenshaw agreed with VP Pence that U.S. policies are not responsible for the turmoil in Venezuela:

“Her opinion is not based on facts or reality. I have been going to Venezuela a long time. My family actually used to live in Caracas. I have traveled there a number of times. I have watched these [socialist] policies ruin the country. It’s not U.S. policy. She didn’t give an example [of a U.S. policy that destroyed Venezuela] because she doesn’t have any.

What has actually happened through price controls and nationalization of the private industry is, you ruined a economy. We have 100 years of examples to show for this. When you put in socialist policies, it destroys a country. That happens over and over again. People starve. That is what is happening now.

These failed ideas [of socialism] that keep bubbling up. It’s a shame we have members of Congress defending them and always going back to, ‘It’s the US’s fault. It’s always America’s fault. If you disagree with me, you are disagreeing with me because of my identity.’

That is what she said in the tweet. That is really cheap. A cheap shot.”

The war hero versus the race-baiting ‘victim’

Congressman Dan Crenshaw, a Navy SEAL, is a decorated war hero who lost his eye fighting radical Islamic terrorists in Afghanistan. He was awarded two Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart for bravery in combat during his five deployments overseas.

In contrast, Ilhan Omar is a refugee from impoverished, war-torn Somalia who was brought here at taxpayer expense. She has repaid the United States by b*tching nonstop about what an evil, racist country it is.

Omar has fueled widespread disgust for her shocking ingratitude to America, which gave her everything she now enjoys — including a cushy, taxpayer-funded annual salary of $174,000.

Fortunately, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
