MSNBC breaks in the middle of live hearing to give Nicolle Wallace time to slander Barr

MSNBC viewers tuning in to watch Attorney General William Barr’s testimony before Congress were repeatedly subjected to commentary by host Nicole Wallace.

In an eyebrow-raising display of unbiased criticism, Wallace ripped into Barr during MSNBC‘s live feed of the hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, at one point declaring that the nation’s top law enforcement officer was “lying.”

“So much has been said here and placed on the record by the attorney general,” host Brian Williams told viewers, interrupting the coverage to announce that they wanted “to correct some of the record against, of all things, what it says in the Mueller report.”

Williams made his comment after stating that “our intention always is to bring as much of this uninterrupted to you as possible.”

“So I’m not going to dance around this. He’s lying,” Wallace declared about Barr who was being grilled by the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday over his handling of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

“He’s lying about what the Mueller report finds around one of the critical flash-points in the obstruction investigation,” she added.

“One of the incidents that was investigated by Robert Mueller and his obstruction investigators was the attempted firing of the special counsel. It was one of the incidents that was under investigation into, really, days before Mueller wrapped up,” Wallace continued.

“He’s quibbling with whether removing Mueller and firing him is the same thing,” she said of Barr telling ranking member Sen. Dianne Feinstein that it’s “not a crime” for President Trump to ask an aide to lie for him and that there is a difference between firing and being removed

“There is a distinction between saying to someone ‘go fire him, go fire Mueller,’ and saying ‘have him removed based on conflict,’ ” Barr said. “They have different results.”

“Here’s how Donald Trump talked about removing/ firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller,” Wallace went on during MSNBC’s excuse for live coverage of the hearing.

“‘Chris Christie recalled a telephone conversation with the president in which the president asked what Christie thought about the president firing,'” she read from a transcript of Chris Christie‘s prior testimony.

“Firing, not removing, the special counsel, ” Wallace emphasized.

She then noted former White House counsel Don McGahn’s remarks about conversations in which the discussion to “remove” Mueller was broached by Trump.

“I think we’ve got an Attorney General lying about what is in the Mueller report around what was one of the most investigated flash-points in the obstruction investigation,” Wallace ranted.

Congressional Democrats have argued that Barr intentionally attempted to present Mueller’s findings in a way that was favorable to Trump. The controversy they claimed was further stoked by reports that Mueller was allegedly frustrated and contacted the attorney general about the summary Barr issued just ahead of the report’s release.

Before Wednesday’s hearing began, the House Judiciary Committee received a copy of Mueller’s letter to Barr  complaining about “public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation.”

But Barr testified that he had called Mueller after the complaints and was told “he was not suggesting that we had misrepresented his report.”

With MSNBC’s interruption of Barr’s testimony and Wallace’s ranting about the attorney general’s integrity keeping viewers from seeing and hearing everything for themselves, the liberal media’s blatant bias was on display again – and blasted on social media.
