Rush Limbaugh believes Hillary Clinton needs to face consequences and jail time for trying to “rig a presidential election.”
The conservative talk radio host told Fox News host Martha MacCallum that the failed Democratic presidential candidate “and her pals” in former President Obama’s Justice Department and FBI need to be under investigation for the “silent coup” led against Presidential Donald Trump and the 2016 election.
Limbaugh considered the “irony” of remarks Clinton made this week during the Time 100 Summit as she suggested special counsel Robert Mueller’s report “could not have been clearer” about the president’s alleged obstruction of justice.
“Hillary Clinton is who tried to rig a presidential election,” Limbaugh said on “The Story with Martha MacCallum” on Tuesday. “Hillary Clinton and her pals in the Obama Department of Justice and the FBI, they are the ones who colluded with the Russians, they are the one that gave us this entirely, totally bogus Steele dossier.”
Clinton’s view was that the report, which concluded that the Trump campaign had not colluded with Russia in the 2016 U.S. election, was “not the end” and that Trump should still be investigated further.

“There is enough there that any other person who has engaged in those acts would certainly have been indicted. The whole matter of obstruction was very directly sent to the Congress. If you read that part of the report, it could not be clearer,” the former secretary of state said, adding that Trump should be impeached if a Congressional investigation finds that “high crimes and misdemeanors have been committed.”
Limbaugh ripped into Clinton, after joking with MacCallum that he was “trying not to listen” to her during the video clip that was played.
“Hillary Clinton needs to be investigated, she needs to be indicted, and she needs to be in jail, and many of her co-conspirators in this whole sordid affair, which amounted to nothing more than a silent coup to overturn the election results of 2016,” he told MacCallum.
“You talk about sour grapes: This is a woman who has been rejected by the American people twice, rejected by her party in 2008, she had to rig the primaries against crazy Bernie in 2016 to get the nomination,” he continued, referring to former 2016 candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders.
“She is the last person who ought to be listened to about what ought to happen to Donald Trump,” Limbaugh declared, adding that Clinton is “in no position to sit here and say what she saw in the Mueller report.”
“She hasn’t accomplished anything anywhere near what Donald Trump has accomplished,” he added. “She doesn’t have credibility on any of this as far as I’m concerned, and I’m not alone.”
Clinton has joined the chorus on the left that has proved that the goal posts will forever continue to be moved in the ongoing war against the president, regardless of what a two-year investigation costing American taxpayers millions of dollars found.
“America, please, there was never any evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia,” Limbaugh concluded.
“The collusion, as I said, was Hillary, the DNC, and the Russians via Steele. But the Russians — when Mueller announced the indictment of the Russian troll farm, Rosenstein without an announcement, nobody paid attention to this, but the end of the announcement, nothing in these indictments suggest a single vote was changed.”
The president gave the talk-radio king a shout-out on Twitter Tuesday.
