In a new op-ed written for The Washington Post, Hillary Clinton played the victim card and gave her full thoughts on the Mueller report.
Clinton said the report documents a “serious crime against all Americans.”
She went on to say that though she believes crimes have been committed, Democrats should not seek to impeach President Donald Trump. The former secretary of state said the “impeachment or nothing” attitude from some liberals is a “false choice.”
She goes on to say, “this is personal for me, and some may say that I’m not the right messenger.” Clinton is referring to the fact that her husband is one of only two presidents to be impeached.
Clinton also says at one point that she was the target of a “Russian plot.”
“My perspective is not just that of a former candidate and target of the Russian plot. I am also a former senator and secretary of state who served during much of [Russian President] Vladimir Putin’s ascent, sat across the table from him and knows firsthand that he seeks to weaken our country,” she wrote.
Her solution for this awful crime against the American people? More government, of course. She said America needs a commission similar to the 9/11 Commission to protect U.S. elections.

“We need a similar commission today to help protect our elections. This is necessary because the president of the United States has proved himself unwilling to defend our nation from a clear and present danger,” wrote Clinton.
She continued, “It was just reported that Trump’s recently departed secretary of homeland security tried to prioritize election security because of concerns about continued interference in 2020 and was told by the acting White House chief of staff not to bring it up in front of the president. This is the latest example of an administration that refuses to take even the most minimal, common-sense steps to prevent future attacks and counter ongoing threats to our nation.
Clinton also had a warning about 2020. The 2016 Democrat nominee for president said, “unless checked, the Russians will interfere again in 2020, and possibly other adversaries, such as China or North Korea, will as well.”
Clinton also warned that if action was not taken, Trump will be reelected and he “may show even more disregard for the laws of the land and the obligations of his office.”
It’s laughable to hear Clinton complain about crimes against America since she’s been embroiled in investigations involving everything from the controversial Clinton Foundation to her mishandling of the 2012 terror attacks in Benghazi.
It’s even more laughable to listen to herself play the victim. She can blame a “Russian plot” all she wants for losing to Donald Trump, but the truth is that she was running to lead a country she was disconnected from. Clinton hardly campaigned in some states and when she did manage to show energy for a crowd, it was only because she was on a stage with celebrities like Beyonce.
Trump ran on his own history of accomplishments and campaigned tirelessly to show the American people he understood their struggles.
A real crime against Americans in 2016 would have been Hillary Clinton becoming president.
