Actress Patricia Heaton blasts MSNBC for ambushing Mueller after Easter Mass, then laughing about it: ‘This is loathsome’

Hollywood paparazzi may be proud of MSNBC for ambushing special counsel Robert Mueller on Easter Sunday, but actress Patricia Heaton was not impressed.

Mueller was attending services Sunday as St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, and MSNBC reporter Mike Viqueira lay in wait as he exited the church, asking Mueller if he would testify before Congress — the only response the reporter got was a terse “no comment.”

And to be clear, this was all part of the network’s ongoing efforts to destroy President Donald Trump, as Viqueira also asked, “If he were anybody but the president, would Mr. Trump be indicted, sir?”

“Sir, why didn’t you make a recommendation to Congress one way or the other?” he continued as Mueller scrambled to get inside his vehicle.

Not only did Viqueira and MSNBC anchor Joy Reid get a good laugh afterwards about the intrusion on the holiest of Christian holidays, with the reporter joking on air that Mueller was being “tight-lipped,” he also touted his efforts in setting the ambush.

“We had a camera crew waiting outside,” he proudly noted. “It was, of course, Easter service. And, yes, we did surprise director Mueller upon his exiting of the church. But nevertheless, that’s the first time we have heard from Bob Mueller in quite some time, even if his only comment was no comment.”

Heaton, a strong pro-life advocate, took to Twitter to note that not only was Easter a sacred Christian holiday, but that there was an attack in Sri Lanka earlier that killed at least 290 people Christians attending Easter services.

“Hello . Today is Easter Sunday, the holiest day of the Christian calendar,” she tweeted. “Some of the faithful were murdered today while they worshiped. But you ambush Robert Mueller outside of his church and chuckle about it afterward. This is loathesome. Shame on you.”

Independent Journal Review’s Caleb Hull ran a longer clip, with Viqueira saying that he “tried to be as respectful as possible,” as if that excused his actions.

The incident was so offense that even Playboy’s Washington correspondent Alex Thomas condemned it.

“[M]aybe we didn’t need to send the paparazzi after Robert Mueller on Easter,” he tweeted.

Other liberals, like Playboy contributor Amee Vanderpool, also denounced the move.

MSNBC was widely condemned for the bush league move, not that it will penetrate the bubble elitist liberal journalists exist in.
