War on Christianity raging in schools and abroad, ignored by media
There's a war on Christianity waging in the United States and around the world. The shocking recent fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral captures the symbolic destruction of the Christian religion -- it's fast and furious.
Last week, as many as 12 Catholic churches in France were vandalized and desecrated, BeliefNet and others reported.
That in itself is shocking, but it's part of a larger trend in France. In 2018 alone, a total of 875 Catholic churches were vandalized.
We're Not Allowed to Talk About War on Christians
These atrocities are escalating at the same time that there has been a massive spike in France’s Muslim population and of Islamist radicalism and anti-Christian intolerance across Europe.
But we're not allowed to talk about this, otherwise the PC police will censor you. Just ask Catholic League president Bill Donohue, who was abruptly cut off when he said in an interview that he was "suspicious" of the Notre Dame fire.
Fox News host Neil Cavuto hung up on Donohue for expressing skepticism that the iconic 900-year-old Catholic church burned to the ground because of an errant fire during a renovation.
Donohue said he suspected that the Catholic church might have been set on fire intentionally. That's when Cavuto quickly hung up on him.
The Notre Dame Cathedral has been around for 900 years and has survived wars, but a simple renovation project (which it routinely undergoes) suddenly caused it to go up in flames?
Children Being Brainwashed in Public Schools
Beyond the vandalism and desecration of Christian churches across France, there's also growing suppression and intolerance of Christianity itself.
In February 2017, two New Jersey moms were shocked after learning that their children were being brainwashed at school by being forced to take lessons in Islam.
Libby Hilsenrath and Nancy Gayer said it's great that their children were learning about Islam at the Chatham Middle School―but not if the curriculum excludes Christianity and other religions.
Hilsenrath said her child’s “world cultures and geography class” only discussed Islam and did not teach about the Christian and Jewish religions.
Hilsenrath was shocked after learning that students were given extensive lessons detailing the five pillars of Islam and were taught “there is no God but Allah” and “Mohammed is the messenger.”
The concerned mom was told that Islam is part of the Chatham Middle School’s “core curriculum.” At a public school?

Taxpayer-Funded Lessons on Islam In the United States
Then, in March 2017, many Americans were shocked to learn that public school children grades five through 12 were being indoctrinated on Islam through lessons financed by taxpayers — unbeknownst to unsuspecting American parents.
Martin Mawyer — president of the Christian Action Network — sent a letter to the Department of Education threatening to file a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of an Islamic education program offered through the PBS LearningMedia website, which is financed by federal taxpayer dollars.
Mawyer told Fox News' Tucker Carlson that he was astonished when he viewed the “educational” lesson plan that gives detailed instructions on Islamic prayers and rituals.
Mawyer said he’s especially disgusted because similar lessons are not offered on Christianity, Judaism or any other religion.
Carlson was stunned since these are public schools, not private religious institutions. Mawyer said he believes Islam-promoting liberals would be outraged if similar lessons on Christianity or another religion were forced down students’ throats at school.
“Well, we know the ACLU would be outraged!” Mawyer said. “They’d be running to the courthouse steps with a lawsuit in their hand. They’d probably break a leg trying to get up those steps fast enough.”
