In a blistering Fox News column, Dr. Ahmed said Omar’s “grotesque trivialization of a national tragedy” desecrates the memory of the almost 3,000 people who tragically died that day.

In her dismissal of Sept. 11, Omar callously erased the deep suffering of every survivor and family I attend, and everyone else still impacted by the terrorist attacks.
I thank God every day that I was able to immigrate to the United States of America, where I am now a proud citizen in a country I love and where I enjoy the blessings of American liberty and protection of my rights under the U.S. Constitution.

Omar Slammed For Being a Total Ingrate To USA
Ilhan Omar has been under fire for months due to her steady stream of anti-American rhetoric.
Her most damning remarks came last week, when she trivialized 9/11 as something “someone did” and refused to acknowledge that it was an Islamist terrorist attack.
Omar is a refugee from impoverished, war-torn Somalia who was brought here at taxpayer expense. She has repaid the United States by b*tching nonstop about what an evil, racist country it is.
Omar has fueled widespread disgust for her shocking ingratitude to America, which gave her everything she now enjoys — including a cushy, taxpayer-funded annual salary of $174,000.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw Rips Omar’s Democratic Apologists
Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw is a decorated Navy SEAL who lost an eye fighting jihadis in Afghanistan.
Crenshaw says Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders who are vigorously defending Omar are making fools of themselves.
“The fact that they would double down on this and try to provide cover for Ilhan Omar when all you have to do is say, ‘Hey, she misspoke. Maybe she did not mean that way.’

Crenshaw: Playing the Muslim Card Is Pathetic
Crenshaw also smacked down Omar and her defenders for playing the Muslim Card whenever she’s criticized for making hateful, bigoted comments.
The liberal media are also vigorously defending Omar because she’s Muslim — and that’s a sacred cow to leftists, along with illegal aliens and transgender people.
In other words, these groups are the “favored pets” for virtue-signaling leftists suffering from toxic White Guilt and a White Savior Complex.
“This is the worst kind of argumentation. They’re trying to silence any arguments against them. Why? Because they don’t actually have an argument to make. So they use identity to silence anyone else from saying anything. ‘You’re not allowed to say that because of who I am.’
Sorry, but no — that’s not how things work in a democracy, especially among members of Congress. You’re supposed to debate ideas. If you say something [stupid], we should call it out. That is why we are elected.
To say you are not allowed to talk about something because of identity is nonsense. It is also bigoted in itself because you’re assuming that everybody of a certain skin color or gender should think a certain way.
That is really wrong. The content of your character is what matters, the ideas that you have. And that’s what we should be debating.”
