Newbie Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is a polarizing figure both to the general public and within her own political party.
Omar’s steady stream of anti-American, anti-Semitic comments have fueled outrage among millions of Americans.
This week, Omar again stirred volcanic backlash by marginalizing the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks when she described it as “someone did something.”
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer Are Curiously Silent
The liberal media are vigorously defending Omar in lock-step because she’s Muslim — and that’s a sacred cow to leftists, along with illegal aliens and transgender individuals.
However, Democratic Party leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have remained curiously silent.
Pelosi and Schumer’s refusal to defend Omar speaks volumes and suggests that even they realize that trivializing the deadliest terrorist attack in US history was a bridge too far. However, they also didn’t condemn her disgusting remarks.
When asked by reporters yesterday to comment on Omar’s cavalier remarks, Pelosi dodged the question.
“I haven’t had the opportunity to speak with [Ilhan Omar] to see the nature of her comment,” Pelosi told reporters. “As is my custom with my colleagues, I call them in before I call them out, so I’ll look forward to hearing from her.”
Similarly, Senator Chuck Schumer of New York — the top Democrat in the GOP-led Senate — has not commented on the latest uproar Omar has caused.
Pandering Democratic Presidential Candidates Defend Omar
Not surprisingly, Democratic presidential candidates Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Bernie Sanders both immediately defended Ilhan Omar. Why? Because they desperately need to pander for votes if they want to secure the Democratic Party’s nomination.
Sanders tweeted: “Ilhan Omar is a leader with strength and courage. She won’t back down to Trump’s racism and hate, and neither will we. The disgusting and dangerous attacks against her must end.”

Fake “American Indian” Elizabeth Warren went a step further, claiming that President Trump was “inciting violence” against Omar for tweeting a video of her outrageous comments (see below).

Navy SEAL War Hero Dan Crenshaw Defends Trump
Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw slammed Sanders and Warren, saying they’re merely trying to silence conservatives who criticize Omar for her repeated anti-American attacks.
Crenshaw tweeted: “Just so we are clear on basic notions of reality: When someone calls out a public official for things they said, it is not endangering their life or inciting violence. Claiming otherwise is just an attempt to silence your critics.”
Crenshaw, a Navy SEAL, is a decorated war hero who lost his eye fighting radical Islamic terrorists in Afghanistan. Crenshaw was awarded two Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart for bravery in combat during his five deployments overseas.
