Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski says Barack Obama not only knew that his FBI illegally spied on the 2016 Trump campaign, but authorized it.
Lewandowski: Trump Knows Obama Authorized Spying
Lewandowski made the remarks to Fox Business host Lou Dobbs while discussing Attorney General William Barr’s bombshell revelation that Trump and his aides had been spied on when they were private citizens.
“We asked the president about this some time ago. And he said it very clearly. He believes it went all the way to the top of the previous administration.
This didn’t stop at Ben Rhodes or some low-level underling. Barack Obama knew about this. He authorized it. There has to be accountability. And I’m happy Attorney General Barr is digging into this.
What we have now is a coup against a duly elected president because they did not like the way he delivered his message. That should scare Americans. It should tell you the power of the government.
Many people, myself included, have spent enormous amounts of money defending ourselves from [bogus] crimes we never committed because they charged us [through malicious prosecution].”
What Did Obama Know and When Did He Know It?
David Bossie, a former Trump campaign aide, agreed.
Bossie said AG Barr must investigate this gross violation of civil liberties and unacceptable weaponization of U.S. intelligence agencies to interfere with a presidential election and settle personal vendettas.
“That is central question I would have if I am Attorney General is: What did Barack Obama know, and when did he know it?
We know that McCabe and Comey and Clapper and Brennan and the cabal inside the White House knew about it. They used the FISA courts in a dishonest way.
[We need to] find out what in the hell the FBI and DOJ were thinking and on whose orders.”

2017 NY Times Story: Obama FBI Spied on Trump Campaign
For those who dismiss Attorney General William Barr’s conclusion that the Obama FBI had spied on the 2016 Trump campaign, remember this accidental admission from the New York Times in 2017?
The New York Times has since tried to scrub the article from its website and suggest that the headline meant something other than what it clearly stated — which is that the Obama FBI spied on Trump.
Democratic Operatives Plotted a Coup Against Trump
As BizPac Review has repeatedly chronicled, Obama holdovers at the highest levels of the FBI and the Department of Justice conspired to undermine and overthrow President Trump after failing to derail his 2016 presidential election.

Matt Schlapp — the chairman of the American Conservative Union — says it’s because establishment Republicans are afraid of controversy by “taking on the Deep State.”
Dobbs said if the GOP does not do something to halt this illegal abuse of power by the left, they can kiss their party goodbye.
“They either follow President Trump or they are going to be on the scrapheap of history,” Dobbs said.
