After taking a brief sabbatical from front page controversy, perhaps just to catch her breath, Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is back and as filled with hate as ever.
Not only has the freshman Democrat returned to bashing Jews, a video has come to light of Omar, one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress, denigrating the 9/11 terrorist attack at the hands of Islamic extremists — an attack that claimed nearly 3,000 lives.
Speaking at a Council on American-Islamic Relations fundraiser last month, Omar is talking about why the Muslim advocacy group was formed, when she referenced the attack on September, 11, 2001.
“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said.
Never mind that CAIR was actually founded in 1994, the seething hatred resonating in her voice is impossible to miss.

CAIR is known for supporting terrorist organizations that have acted against Israel and the United States, according to The Jerusalem Post, which reported that it has a long history of affiliation with Hezbollah and Hamas.
“Moreover, the organization was officially designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates in 2014, placing it in the company of Al Qaeda, Islamic State and others,” the newspaper noted.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, a former Navy SEAL who lost an eye while fighting in Afghanistan against Islamic extremism, denounced Omar for her highly insensitive remark.
“First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something.’ Unbelievable,” Crenshaw tweeted.

If anyone has earned a right to criticize the anti-Semite, it would be Dan Crenshaw.
It was at the CAIR fundraiser that Omar called on Muslims to “raise hell, make people uncomfortable!”
The call to action being in response to her assertion that Muslims are made to feel like “second class citizens.”

The controversy comes just as the ugliness in her heart exposed itself again this week when Omar said White House adviser Stephen Miller was a “white nationalist.”
Miller, who’s Jewish, is at the center of the abrupt resignation of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, reportedly directing a massive department overhaul as a full-fledged crisis on the southern border threatens to spin out of control, and Omar was responding to that.
The reactions online may be summed up best in three words: “Nice job, Minnesota.”
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
Because of some people who did something I got to spend 30 months in some place, shooting at someone, and for the last 9 years something makes me wake up in a cold sweat every couple of nights.

Hey, some people did a thing. Who they were and what that thing was, we may never know.

This is so devastating and insulting to all those that died that day. One of them being my husband, the father of my 3 children.

This individual truly concerns me. She’s a snake in the grass.

You own this @SpeakerPelosi. You & @HouseDemocrats who leave this despicable anti-Semite on the Foreign Affairs Committee & don’t censure her, by name, own her comments. If that’s who @TheDemocrats @DNC are, good luck holding the House or getting the Senate or White House back.

People in the west (Whites in particular) are so desperate to be seen as kind, secular and anti racism liberals that they are voting in all kinds of bigots & loonies from immigrant communities…its a well earned slap by the people of Minnesota, let them bask in their glory.

Some people did something. Isn’t that on a monument somewhere? Unacceptable language.

The enemies within the city walls is more deadly than the enemies outside the gate because they undermine the pillars of the City
