‘You mad bro?’ AOC responds to Tucker Carlson calling her a nasty, self-righteous moron by behaving like one

During an MSNBC-hosted town hall last Friday, seemingly un-self-aware socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lectured the audience about why they should abstain from attacking their political opponents with name-calling. Five seconds later, she attacked her political opponents with name-calling by smearing the multiracial Tea Party as xenophobic and racist.

Three days later on Fox News, “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host Tucker Carlson gave the hypocritical congresswoman a taste of her own medicine by labeling her a “nasty,” “self-righteous” and “awful” “moron.” In response, AOC doubled down on her sanctimony and hypocrisy.

“When someone called a fmr Republican Congressman a ‘moron’ at our televised town hall, I shut it down immediately — bc I believe our policies can win on merit, & can be improved w/ productive discourse. You know we’re winning when the GOP resort to vapid, personal insults,” the stunningly un-self-aware congresswoman tweeted early Tuesday morning.

She tripled down later that evening with the following sassy add-on:

What the young congresswoman doesn’t seem to understand is that her and her congressional peers’ habit of labeling all conservatives bigots, white supremacists, Nazis, etc., is a form of name-calling. It’s a particularly nasty form, as it has been used to drum up fear and loathing.

Note that when Carlson admittedly applied name-calling against her, he specifically targeted her — not all women, not all people with Puerto Rican ancestry, not all liberal Democrats. Just her. He stuck to the same limited scope when attacking the town hall’s moderator, Chris Hayes.

“Chris Hayes is what every man would be if feminists ever achieved absolute power in this country: apologetic, bespectacled, and deeply, deeply concerned about global warming and the patriarchal systems that cause it,” Carlson said Monday of the soft-spoken, soy-boy-ish MSNBC host.

He had been poking fun at Hayes’ “Pajama Boy” mentality. Flash-back to 2013, when then-President Barack Obama launched an advertising campaign for the Affordable Care Act that featured a “man” wearing pajamas and sipping tea as he “talk[ed] about getting health insurance.”

The so-called “man” looked like a child — one waiting for mommy and daddy (or Obama, in that case) to hand him some government-subsidized health care. In the utopia envisioned by the likes of Obama and his veritable clone, Ocasio-Cortez, it’s proper for a man to act like a man-child versus earning his health care like everybody else by applying himself to his work or education.

Hayes responded to Carlson’s taunt on Tuesday by posting a “story” to Instagram that showed him attempting to perform what’s known as a lat-pull down exercise at a gym.

“Every quarter the Feminarchist Junta requires all adult males to present themselves for a fitness inspection. Failure to pass results in summary execution,” the caption read.

Funny.

Just to be clear, Hayes was incorrectly performing the exercise. To properly target the latissimus dorsi, he’d need to retract his scapula and lean slightly back. All he was actually working in the video above were his arms. Someone like Carlson might argue that a real man would have known that (j/k).

Dovetailing back to AOC’s tweets, while they certainly attracted a lot of likes, they also generated intense criticism. One of the most notable critics was the one and only MLB legend turned proud conservative activist and Trump supporter Curt Schilling.

In response, AOC’s “Pajama Boy” fan base pounced:

Schilling wasn’t wrong about AOC being a hidden blessing. The more she speaks, the further her favorably ratings drop. According to a Quinnipiac poll released last Thursday, she currently boasts a net NEGATIVE 13 overall approval rating. Not good. Not good at all.

From touting radical ideas to continually acting hypocritical, sanctimonious and egotistical — it was only about a month ago that she told everyone who disagrees with her to shut up because she’s “the boss” and the words of people “shouting from the cheap seats” is irrelevant — AOC is doing a wonderful job destroying her own brand. Apparently, self-destruction comes easy to “awful” people. Who knew!?
