Last Friday over a million more Americans tuned in to Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s weekday program than the town hall that MSNBC hosted for socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
“According to Nielsen’s early ratings, the Town Hall hosted by MSNBC’s ‘All In’ host Chris Hayes garnered 1,568,000 total viewers while Carlson’s program had 2,656,000,” Fox News reported Monday. “Fox News drew 420,000 viewers aged 25-54, while the MSNBC town hall had 232,000 viewers.”
Those who skipped AOC’s event for “Tucker Carlson Tonight” missed one hell of a show. During MSNBC’s one-hour town hall, the 29-year-old congresswoman threw her own staffer under the bus, likened Hurricane Maria to the Sept. 11 attacks and even rewrote American history. Wow!
Meanwhile, a new poll published on the day before AOC’s big event found that only 23 percent of Americans view her favorably, whereas a 36 plurality view her unfavorably.
“All is definitely not A-OK for AOC,” Quinnipiac University Poll assistant director Tim Malloy noted. “Most voters either don’t like the firebrand freshman Congresswoman or don’t know who she is.”
Why such disdain for her? Perhaps because she’s a “nasty,” “self-righteous” and “awful” person — one who, according to Carlson, readily engages in the same behavior she demonizes conservatives for allegedly perpetrating. Behavior such as name-calling, for instance.
“That’s the difference between you and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She is a highly decent person. Listen to her explain how she doesn’t resort to ad hominem attacks, unlike her enemies, who by the way are xenophobic white supremacists,” he said Monday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
He then proceeded to play a video from the town hall showing AOC first claiming that she isn’t into “calling anyone names” and then labeling the Tea Party movement xenophobic and racist.
Watch:
“Yes, stop with the name-calling, you racist, white supremacist, xenophobe!” Carlson sarcastically blurted out in anger after the town hall clip finished playing.
“So, it’s official. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a moron and nasty and more self-righteous than any televangelist who ever preached a sermon on cable access. She is not impressive. She’s awful.”
An awful hypocrite?
Just to be clear, the Tea Party is a grassroots movement formed in 2009 to combat then-President Barack Hussein Obama’s radically far-left agenda. Its members include black conservative activist Lloyd Marcus. The movement’s new focus is on supporting President Donald Trump.

But not only is AOC an “awful” hypocrite — she’s also someone with ideas so dangerous and radical that even Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore has critiqued her “blathering insanity.”
Speaking with Carlson earlier this month, he warned that the implementation of the young socialist’s agenda — including her widely panned “Green New Deal,” which was the focus of her town hall last Friday — would lead to the “end of civilization” as it currently exists.
“[I]f we ban fossil fuels,” he said, referring to the key component of AOC’s GND, “first agricultural production would collapse in a very short period of time. There are these things called tractors and they use fuel. And all the other implements on the farm. And then there is the transportation. So when you have no fuel, how do you get the food to the center of New York, to Manhattan, where AOC is from? You don’t. Then the people there will begin to starve.”
“And that will spread out as a rock from the center of the metropolises all across the country, and half the population will die in a very short period of time.”
“There wouldn’t be a tree left on this planet because that would be all there was for fuel for heating and cooking as they did in the old days when there was hardly anybody on the planet compared to what there is today,” he continued. “So just that one point — never mind the insanity of banding aircraft and fossil fuels using vehicles.”
And yes, the deal does in fact also call for banning automobiles and airplanes.
Listen:
All attempts to educate Ocasio-Cortez of the truth have fallen on deaf ears, presumably because, as a genuinely “awful” person, she doesn’t care what others have to say about her ideas. In short, she thinks she’s the queen of the world, not to mention the alpha and omega of truth.
Except her so-called “truth” is often nothing more than lies and distortions, as noted by social media:
Um. You’re really confused. You say incredibly stupid things every 5 minutes or so and then everyone makes fun of you, not just the GOP. You’re an awful, disingenuous, arrogant turd of a person.

Can’t tell if you’re seriously this disingenuous or just completely don’t grasp economics after you supposedly studied it (which raises a whole slew of questions about Boston U)

Tucker Carlson isn’t an elected govt official. You also said the tea party was based on xenophobia and white supremacy, and if Mike Lee could be a Senator, you could do anything. Stop lying and start owning your own mistakes.

AOC:Who’s against immigration to US? It’s ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION that’s not good. Can you stop lying and get that through your thick skull? You and Schiff, lies, lies, lies.
