Caravan migrant who ripped Mexico for feeding her ‘pig food’ arrested in Texas for assault with deadly weapon

And the media can’t understand where President Donald Trump gets the idea that a lot of bad people are flowing into America through our porous southern border?

A Honduran mother who was traveling with a migrant caravan marching on the U.S. has been arrested in Texas for allegedly assaulting a woman with a gun, according to the Daily Mail.

But this isn’t just any invading migrant, Mirian Zelaya Gómez is infamously known as “Lady Frijoles” or Bean Lady for complaining about food Mexican authorities gave the caravan, slamming a serving of refried beans — a traditional staple of Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine — as pig food.

“The truth is that the food they are giving here is fatal. Look at what they are giving us,” Gómez told a reporter from the German network DW Español in Tijuana back in November. “Look, pure grounded beans as if you were feeding the pigs.

“There is really no other option, you have to eat that food because otherwise we die of hunger.”

(She later apologized after facing serious backlash.)

Gómez, 38, and her sister, Mirna Zelaya Gómez, 33, were apprehended in Dallas last week and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The women allegedly attacked another woman who owned the property Mirna rents in Dallas — the sister was reportedly already living in Dallas.

*Note that Gómez’s race is listed as “White” in the Dallas County booking photo:

Both women are being held on a $10,000 bond and, according to Brietbart News, have immigration detainers on them.

It would appear that Gómez was adjusting well in America, based on an Instagram photo shared by the Daily Mail.

In the photo, she is seen on the far right, along with a friend and her sister, Mirna, on the far left.
