Kardashians thank ICE for arresting Kendall’s stalker. So, it’s ok to call ICE for crimes against celebs?

While much of far-left America may hate U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, the world-famous socialites in the Kardashian-Jenner family have just become their biggest fans.

Why? Because thanks to ICE, neither the Kardashians nor the Jenners need worry anymore about an illegal alien who’d reportedly been stalking and harassing one of their own.

“We are extremely appreciative of the hard work by the Los Angeles Police Department and ICE, whose swift response and professionalism led to this man’s apprehension,” the family said in a statement following the apprehension last Monday of John Ford, a visa overstayer and illegal alien from Canada who’d been convicted twice for breaking into the home of Kendall Jenner.

“His actions have not only had a severe impact on Kendall’s life, but the entire family’s sense of security, causing us to fear for Kendall’s safety as well as our own,” a representative for the blended family said in a statement. Knowing this individual is in custody gives us peace of mind.”

According to a press release by ICE, the agency found Ford, 38, in a parking lot of a New Mexico hotel courtesy a tip: “Ford was recently arrested after being discovered in Jenner’s swimming pool at her California home. Acting on a tip, HSI special agents located Ford in Albuquerque.”

“After further investigation, HSI special agents learned that Los Angeles police officers have arrested Ford twice in the past year for trespassing on Jenner’s private property. Both arrests resulted in misdemeanor convictions, for which he served jail sentences.”

It’s unclear why he wasn’t apprehended by ICE following those convictions. Either his VISA hadn’t expired yet, or California’s widely panned “sanctuary city” / “sanctuary state” policies had prevented local authorities from transferring him into the custody of federal immigration officials.

What’s known is that Ford entered the U.S. from Canada on March 29 of 2018 with a non-immigrant B-2 visa that permitted him to stay for six months, or up until Oct 29.

According to a report by Newsweek published late last year, he started harassing Jenner as early as September, if not earlier, and continued harassing her through at least November.

“Ford, 37, has been arrested for trespassing Jenner’s gated community in Beverly Hills on a number of occasions, including one instance in which he was spotted on her porch,” the outlet reported. “A judge issued an order banning him from being within 1,000 feet of Jenner’s neighborhood in September. Then Ford was caught sitting in her backyard by her security detail in October. He allegedly scaled the mountainside in the back of the community to get to Jenner’s property.”

What’s odd is that in November he was hit with a restraining order ” preventing him from being within 100 yards of” the victim. It’s unclear why he wasn’t handed over to ICE at the time.

Regarding the victim, Kendall Jenner, she’s been a critic of President Donald Trump.

Last year she walked in the March for Our Lives protest while wearing a jean jacket with the words “GOD SAVE US … HE AIN’T MY PRESIDENT…” emblazoned on the back of it:

It’s unclear whether she realizes that Trump has been the most pro-ICE, anti-illegal-immigration president in modern American history, or that his administration has jumped through hoops to apprehend illegal aliens and rightly deport them back to their home countries.

The fact that she’s enjoying the benefits of Trump’s presidency — via her stalker being rightly arrested by ICE and presumably prepared for deportation — while simultaneously protesting the president has not sat well with some social media users.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

They had a valid point. The same wealthy, elitist, hypocritical Hollywood types who demand that every day, hard-working Americans allow illegal aliens in their communities, and who clamor loudly for ICE to be abolished, have no problem fighting to keep illegals out of their communities or taking advantage of ICE’s services when it’s  beneficial to them and their families.

That being said, perhaps the Kardashian/Jenner family’s newfound appreciation for ICE will serve as a wake-up call to the rest of Hollywood?

Either that or they’ll become pariahs:
