Ocasio-Cortez mad about upcoming ‘bluff’ vote on her Green New Deal. Who’s the one bluffing if she didn’t want a vote?

Early last month socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unveiled her “Green New Deal” and argued that the legislation’s passage was necessary to prevent the imminent destruction of all of mankind, of all of the animal kingdom and of all of Earth.

Last week Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell responded to Ocasio-Cortez’s fear-mongering rhetoric and radical proposal by scheduling a vote on the GND for sometime later this week.

In response, AOC, who as a reminder crafted the deal because she believes, “like, the world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t,” threw a fit and called the scheduled vote a “disgrace.”

Twitter users responded by asking her what she’s afraid of.

Look:

She’d posted the tweet in response to an “analysis piece” from The Washington Post that accused McConnell of scheduling a sham vote to cause division and strife within the Democrat Party.

As evidence of this opinionated theory, the piece cited the words of Democrats such as Stephen O’Hanlon, a spokesman for the virulently far-left Sunrise Movement.

“The only reason he is calling for this vote is to score some points for the oil and gas executives who bankroll his campaigns. This vote is a sham,” O’Hanlon said.

This statement was seemingly taken as gospel by the Post, despite O’Hanlon’s employer being the same radical organization that sicced a mob of indoctrinated kids on Sen. Dianne Feinstein last month.

The piece also quoted AOC, who earlier this month accused Fox News of being “AOC TMZ.” It was a reiteration of the “Republicans pounce” theme frequently touted by the media.

So what’s the real reason that McConnell scheduled a vote on the congresswoman’s deal? Judging by his rhetoric, it was to gauge how far and wide her radicalism has spread.

“By pushing for a vote, McConnell hopes to see how far Democrats are willing to go to align themselves with the party’s new progressive wing,” Fox News has confirmed.

“Just a good old-fashioned, state-planned economy. Garden-variety 20th-century socialism,” the Senate leader reportedly said in a recent speech. “Our Democratic colleagues have taken all the debunked philosophies of the last hundred years, rolled them into one giant package, and thrown a little ‘green’ paint on them to make them look new.”

AOC’s plan is radical to the core. So is she, for that matter. While the fact that the Democrat Party contains such a radical is disturbing unto itself, what McConnell appears to be doing is trying to see whether other Democrats in Congress share the young congresswoman’s radicalism.

“I’ve noted with great interest the Green New Deal, and we’re going to be voting on that in the Senate to give everybody an opportunity to go on record,” he told reporters last month.

But the Senate leader may have also scheduled a vote on the bill to surreptitiously demonstrate its radicalism to the world. According to The Washington Post, a number of Democrats, including Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Ed Markey, plan to vote “present” instead of “yes” or “no.”

How do you suppose the American people will react when they learn that their own Democrat leaders refused to endorse AOC’s idea? Some may wonder why. And those who dig further may come to realize that the GND is a radical monstrosity and complete joke of a bill.

In fact, social media users are confident that this is the real reason AOC is so deathly afraid of her bill being brought up for a vote in the Senate next week:

And there it is. The “Green New Deal” is the real sham, and AOC knows it!
