The apparent vindication of President Donald Trump as the result of the completion of the Mueller investigation with no evidence of Russian collusion has many pundits offering support for the possibility of a Trump pardon for Roger Stone and others.
Tucker Carlson commented on his Fox News program that he believes Roger Stone should be pardoned sooner than later.
“It literally looks like Roger Stone could spend the rest of his life in prison for a process crime that wouldn’t have arisen without this investigation, which turned out to be pointless in the first place,” Carlson said, pointing out that not a single American citizen has been indicted on anything related to collusion.
Fox White House correspondent Ed Henry reported in a discussion with Carlson that he has heard no one from within the Trump administration talk about pardons, but that there are plenty of folks outside the White House and around Washington who are. “I’ve heard very clearly from outside the White House that the President was advised by allies to let the investigation play out before he discusses pardons or does anything,” he said.
“Roger Stone is facing life in prison,” Carlson said. “He was indicted by an investigation designed to find collusion––indicted on minor charges. He was dragged from his own home in a morning FBI raid … Where is Roger Stone’s pardon? His pardon from the president. Let’s hope it comes very soon.”
#Mueller is done and NOT ONE person was charged with conspiring with Russians.
Gen. Flynn, Papadopoulos, and Roger Stone all deserve immediate pardons for being victims of a prosecutorial double standard.

On his own program, Fox News personality Sean Hannity said, “Mueller spent 22 months investigating Trump, based on a fantasy, no evidence … it was a partisan witch hunt from day one … designed to protect their favorite presidential candidate and rig that election when she should have been indicted.”
Someone should sue Mueller.

There’s one thing that should be done immediately, and that’s a pardon from @POTUS @realDonaldTrump for General Flynn. He was entrapped by a corrupt FBI and effectively denied counsel. @TomFitton https://t.co/mEUEYsccyH
