Newly released emails from batches Hillary tried to destroy show deception much bigger than we thought

Newly unveiled emails from the personal email server that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used during her tenure at the department seem to provide further proof that she lied in 2015 when she claimed under penalty of perjury that there were no more emails to turn over.

At the time she insisted under oath that the 55,000 pages of emails she’d submitted to the State Department a year earlier comprised all of her work-related emails. That was a lie.

Clinton has long faced criticism for using an unsecured personal email server to transmit State Department work-related correspondence, some of which included classified materials.

Because of an investigation launched by the Justice Department, the former secretary of state was forced to turn over all the emails on her server for inspection in 2014. Instead of complying, she turned over only those emails she felt were relevant and deleted the rest.

Fast forward to 2017, when forensic investigators with President Donald Trump’s FBI were able to uncover 72,000 of deleted emails from Clinton’s server.

Thanks to a successful Freedom of Information Act filed against the State Department two years earlier, the watchdog group Judicial Watch has been able to obtain 756 pages of these emails. And according to a press release published Thursday, the emails appear to be quite damning.

“This final batch of Clinton emails includes five new classified emails and communications with controversial figures Lanny Davis and Sidney Blumenthal,” the watchdog group reported.

Not only does the content of these emails make it clear that Clinton lied in 2015, but they also suggest that she was — at the very least — constantly tempted to partake in unethical actions.

“In September 2, 2010, email exchange marked classified, longtime Clinton confidante Lanny Davis tells Secretary Clinton that he could serve as a private channel for her to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he had a ‘private and highly trusted communication line, unofficial and personal, to PM N[etanyahu],'” Judicial Watch notes.

The benefit of a private channel of communication, which is highly unethical, is that it allows figures such as Clinton to communicate with world leaders outside of government control.

Recall the fury that erupted from Democrats and their media allies last year when Trump met privately with Russian president Vladimir Putin. It’s unclear whether Democrats will respond to the latest revelations about Clinton with the same fury. Their history suggests they won’t.

The emails obtained by Judicial Watch also show that she was broached about a potential meeting with a sketchy pro-Putin Georgian billionaire in 2012.

“An email with the subject line ‘Clinton-Ivanishvili Meeting’ shows a meeting with pro-Putin, Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili, who was reportedly involved in a Russia-rigged election for president of the Republic of Georgia,” Judicial Watch reports.

“On May 29, 2012, longtime Clinton political operative Craig T. Smith emailed Cheryl Mills, asking if a meeting between Secretary Clinton and Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili was ‘happening,’ saying: ‘Would be a good thing if it can work out.'”

It’s unclear whether the meeting ever occurred.

One of the emails also mentions then-Vice President Joe Biden: “An undated email from former Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbott to Clinton discusses that ‘VP’ Joe Biden was ‘thinking seriously about a Biden-Putin Commission.'”

The administration of then-President Barack Obama was rarely hassled by Democrats and their media allies for its troublingly chummy relationship with Putin. The current president has meanwhile continually been accused of being a puppet for Putin, despite his fairly tough demeanor toward the Russian leader.

According to Judicial Watch, the emails also “reveal that Clinton had been assigned an official government email address with which she could have conducted government business, [email protected]. She also reportedly had additional government addresses at her disposal: [email protected] and [email protected], neither of which were configured to send or receive emails.”

It appears Clinton chose to send and receive emails her way, despite the risks her way posed to the lives of others, including Sean Smith, an American diplomat who was killed in the 2012 Benghazi terror attack. Previously reviewed emails show that Clinton negligently and recklessly revealed Smith’s location in one of the emails she transmitted via her unsecured server.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

Three years ago Smith’s parents filed a wrongful death suit against the former secretary of state, accusing her of essentially causing their son’s death.

“Having used a secret private email server that we now know was used to communicate with Ambassador Christopher Stevens with confidential and classified government information, and which we also now know was likely hacked by hostile adversaries such as Iran, Russia, China and North Korea aligning with terrorist groups, it is clear that Hillary Clinton allegedly negligently and recklessly gave up the classified location of the plaintiffs’ sons, resulting in a deadly terrorist attack that took their lives,” their attorney said at the time.

As of March 2019, Clinton has still not been held accountable for any of her actions. Because of the two-tiered way in which the justice system operates, some suspect she’ll never be held accountable:
