GOP trolls Beto O’Rourke on St Patrick’s Day with mugshot from DUI arrest

The GOP hilariously trolled Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke on St. Patrick’s Day by tweeting a meme spotlighting Robert Francis’ mugshot from his 1998 drunk-driving arrest.

“On this St. Paddy’s Day, a special message from noted Irishman Robert Francis O’Rourke,” the GOP snarked.

Liberals Immediately Play Race Card

Predictably, leftist grievance mongers immediately accused the GOP of being “racist” even though O’Rourke — who’s of Irish and Welsh descent — is white.

According to the left’s own inane rules, it’s impossible to be racist toward whites. Just ask CNN’s race-baiting opinion host, Don Lemon.

Isn’t the real racist the person who automatically assumes that dissing an Irishman for drunk-driving is an implication that all Irish people are alcoholics? Isn’t that a bigoted stereotype?

Even O’Rourke dismissed the GOP mugshot tweet, saying we should all remained “focused on the big picture.”

Cultural Appropriation? Beto Is Not Hispanic

Like fellow far-left Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Beto O’Rourke became the instant “face” of the Democrat Party, thanks to his clueless, youthful energy and (faux) Latino first name.

Because of his use of a Spanish nickname, many people assume that Beto is Hispanic. He’s not. Beto claims he was called “Beto” as a child to avoid confusion with his namesake grandfather, Robert Francis.

Trump Mocks Beto’s ‘Crazy’ Hand Gestures

Since announcing his 2020 presidential candidacy last week, O’Rourke has been lampooned for his frenetic hand movements.

President Trump immediately honed in on O’Rourke’s jerky gesticulations. When asked about O’Rourke’s presidential candidacy, Trump quipped:

“He has a lot of hand movement. I’ve never seen so much hand movement. I said, ‘Is he crazy or is that just the way he acts?’ I’ve actually never seen anything quite like it. Study it. I’m sure you’ll agree.”

Even the “Tonight Show’s” liberal host Jimmy Fallon mocked Beto’s wild gesticulations.

Beto Pens Ode to Cow: ‘Buff My Balls and Wax My *ss’

O’Rourke also has some bizarre skeletons in his closet, including a poem he wrote as a teen under the pseudonym “Psychedelic Warlord.”

In the bovine-centric poem “The Song of the Cow,” young Beto urges a cow to give him milk and “buff my balls and wax my *ss.”

Far-Left Democrats Are Obsessed With Cows ??

For some reason, Democrats are obsessed with cows.

Take Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, who declared war on farting cows and was immediately smacked down by Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore.

Moore — who trashed Ocasio-Cortez as a “pompous little twit — observed: “The problem with AOC is she doesn’t know whether or not she knows what she is talking about.”

Witness: Beto Tried to Flee Scene of DUI

Now that Beto has thrown his hat in the ring, he should be prepared for heavy scrutiny. So far, O’Rourke has managed to skateboard under the radar because he lost his Senate race to incumbent Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

Now, he will truly be vetted because he’s in a national — not state — political race. This is what happens when you run for president. It’s time for little Beto to put on his big-boy pants.

Meanwhile, here’s some background on O’Rourke’s 1998 DUI arrest, as reported by the Houston Chronicle:

“O’Rourke was driving drunk at what a witness called “a high rate of speed” in a 75 mph zone on Interstate 10 about a mile from the New Mexico border. He lost control and hit a truck, sending his car careening across the center median into oncoming lanes.

The witness, who stopped at the scene, later told police that O’Rourke had tried to drive away from the scene.

In a statement, O’Rourke did not address the witness account of his alleged attempt to flee.

“I drove drunk and was arrested for a DWI in 1998,” O’Rourke said. “As I’ve publicly discussed over the last 20 years, I made a serious mistake for which there is no excuse.”

The accident occurred just as O’Rourke, the son of an El Paso County Judge, had celebrated his 26th birthday the night before.”
