Fox News host Sean Hannity reiterated his prediction that a “day of reckoning” is coming for all of the players lined up against President Donald Trump.
In a panel discussion on “Hannity” Thursday with The Hill’s John Solomon, Fox News Channel legal analyst Gregg Jarrett and Rep. Jim Jordan, newly released transcripts of closed-door congressional testimonies were reviewed and revealed the ongoing attempt to take down Trump.
Hannity spoke with his guests about the House Judiciary Committee interviews of disgraced former FBI employees Lisa Page and Peter Strzok as well as Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, in transcripts that were released by Republican Georgia Rep. Doug Collins, concluding the segment by warning that things are “about to break wide open.”
“As soon as Bob Mueller’s report comes in and as soon as the president is no longer in legal jeopardy, it’s incumbent upon the president to declassify those documents. Let us see the FBI’s true activity for what it is not for what it was made to look like for a two year mirage,” Solomon said, noting there is “a new sheriff in town” referring to Attorney General William Barr.
Jarrett concurred, saying he hoped Barr “reads the same transcripts of Lisa Page and Peter Strzok that we have now read and that are available for the public to read. Because it’s clear from both of them that the fix was in.”
Page’s testimony revealed that the FBI “was ordered by the Obama DOJ not to consider charging Hillary Clinton for gross negligence in the handling of classified information.”

In addition, Strzok’s testimony revealed that the Justice Department blocked the FBI’s access to Hillary Clinton’s private server and, in an explosive question and answer session with then-Rep. Trey Gowdy, unveiled a shocking bias toward Trump while favoring Hillary Clinton.

Hannity noted that in light of the week’s many revelations, it was a “legitimate question” to ask “what did President Obama know and when did he know it?”
“Never forget the code names they gave,” Ohio GOP Rep. Jordan responded. “The Clinton investigation was called the ‘Mid -Year Exam.’ The Trump-Russia investigation was called ‘Crossfire Hurricane.’ That shows you the bias that existed right from the get-go.”
Hannity concluded the segment with a question for his panelists.
“Do you all agree with this statement? You can shake your heads. This is about to break wide open and many of these players are about to see a day of reckoning?” he asked.
Solomon, Jarrett and Jordan all responded in the affirmative, nodding in agreement.
“My sources are telling me the same,” Hannity said.
Jarrett, who authored “The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump,” contends that the alleged collusion by Trump and the Russians was created by “the swamp.”
“I always hesitate to use what’s become a pejorative term: the deep state, but frankly, I can think of no better alternative,” he told Breitbart News Wednesday. “Power in Washington is like crack cocaine. It’s highly addictive. If you see anything that’s a threat to that power, you’ll turn heaven and earth to try to hang on to it and do what you can; abuse your authority, misuse the law in order to perpetuate your own power, and that’s what happened here. Facts were invented or exaggerated. The law enforcers became the law breakers. It was a conspicuous abuse of power.”
Jarrett warned that it gives “Americans pause that they should be afraid of their government,” noting that the swamp, “which had been in control the last eight years under the Obama administration, viewed Trump as a threat. He threatened to drain the swamp and the swamp didn’t want to be drained.”
