Venezuela’s rightful president invites AOC and Ilhan Omar to Venezuela to see socialism in it’s true form

In a stunning Fox Business interview Monday evening, Venezuela’s rightful president, Juan Guaidó, effectively invited Democrat congresswoman and proud socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to visit his country and see the fruits of socialism with her own eyes.

Guaidó posed the invitation after Trish Regan asked him what message he has for those Democrat politicians who have downplayed or ignored the ongoing crisis in Venezuela.

“There are some politicians in the united states, AOC, Ilhan Omar, who don’t believe this crisis is real. What would you say to them?” she asked on “Trish Regan Primetime.”

Listen to Guaidó’s response below:

“It’s about a lack of information,” he replied. “So if you want to talk about the economy, we’re seeing 53 percent rates, 1,000 percent in inflation, lack of basic products, medication and food.”

“If we look at the day-to-day suffering of the Venezuelan people, that’s not about numbers — it’s about human beings. It’s about lives, people who are suffering right now, who see their lives in danger and who cannot provide for themselves as human beings to sustain a society and the world.”

“So regarding the crisis going on in Venezuela, I invite everyone to see what’s going on in Venezuela and the amount of displaced persons in our country, and the drama of the day-to-day living of seeking out food, water or simply power in our country.”

Life in dictator Nicolás Maduro’s socialist regime is complete and utter hell, as Guaidó, more-so now than ever before courtesy a country-wide blackout that’s …

Left babies sweltering in the heat:

Forced Venezuelans to collect water from drain pipes and natural springs:

Spurred desperate, starving Venezuelans to loot grocery stores:

And more.

“Once South America’s most prosperous country, oil-rich Venezuela is experiencing nationwide blackouts, crippling food and water shortages, mass protests, diplomatic tensions and sanction threats,” Nine News notes. “Tragic photos show people pushing cars without petrol, vandalized shopping centers and locals swarming sewage drains in search of water.”

What remains unclear is what caused the blackout. Maduro’s illegitimate regime claims that sabotage by Guaidó — who has been declared the rightful president by the National Assembly of Venezuela and recognized as such by most of the civilized world — is to blame.

“The days-long power outages have worsened the situation of a country already facing a hyperinflationary economic collapse that has spurred a mass migration and turned once-basic items like corn flour and toilet paper into unaffordable luxuries,” Nine News’ report continues.

These economic conditions exist solely because of Maduro’s socialist policies. A former lackey to Hugo Chávez, he took over following Chavez’s death in 2013 and essentially doubled, tripled and quadrupled down on his predecessor’s nightmarishly redistributionist policies.

Yet despite the very observable results of his socialist policies, Democrats like AOC and her mentor, Sen. Bernie Sanders, remain convinced of socialism’s alleged advantages.

Moreover, they remain equally convinced of capitalism’s alleged follies.

“[W]e should be scared right now because corporations have taken over our government,” she whined during the “South by Southwest” tech conference last weekend in Austin.

Never mind the untold numbers of people that have been brought out of poverty thanks to capitalism.

“At the end of the day, as workers, and as people in society, we’re the ones creating wealth, not a corporate CEO,” AOC continued. “It is not a CEO that is actually creating billions of dollars a year, it is the millions of workers in this country that is creating billions of dollars in economic productivity every year, and our system should reflect that.”

This is the exact sort of mindset that Chávez had in mind when, following his election to office as Venezuela’s president in 1998, he began radically transforming his country into a socialist hellhole.

“A Bolivarian Republic, Venezuela turned to socialism in 1998 when Hugo Chavez was elected president after two unsuccessful coup attempts to oust his predecessor,” Forbes notes.

“The new regime brought not only a new constitution, but higher oil prices as well. The following year Chavez passed laws redistributing land and wealth, which he followed in 2005 with a land reform decree that would eliminate larger estates to the benefit of the poor in rural areas.”

Read the last sentence again, and note what was written about Chavez’s policies allegedly being designed to benefit the poor. Now look at the video below and ask yourself whether the poor are really benefiting:

This is the legacy of socialism that Guaidó thinks AOC should see for herselfl
