Times Square billboard messages for AOC get better and better. New one shows her who’s really ‘the boss.’

New billboards have gone up in New York slamming Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her proposed Green New Deal.

Two billboards targeting the self-proclaimed Democratic socialist appeared in New York City’s Times Square calling out her radical plan for climate change and the economy, Reuters reported.

A conservative, pro-business group unveiled the digital billboards mocking the 29-year-old progressive darling nicknamed “AOC” for her initials and her comments made during a February town hall event in which she touted herself as “the boss.”

“Hey AOC, you’re the ‘boss?'” read one billboard on the side of a skyscraper in Manhattan while another below it read, “We don’t think so. The American people are the boss.”

“Like, I just introduced Green New Deal two weeks ago and it’s created creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried,” Ocasio-Cortez said at the town hall last month. “So people are like ‘Oh it’s unrealistic,’ ‘Oh it’s vague,’ ‘Oh it doesn’t address this little, minute thing.’ And I’m like ‘You try, you do it.’

The freshman congresswoman, who is denying allegations in an FEC complaint that she and her chief of staff funneled nearly $1 million in contributions from political action committees to two of his private companies, has been fighting back against critics of the controversial Green New Deal.

She fired back at the New York Post over a report exposing the “hypocrisy” of her “gas-guzzling car rides,” while she declared in January that ‘The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change.”

Last month, she continued her warning call, arguing that there was “basically a scientific consensus that the lives of our children are going to be very difficult” due to climate change. “And it does lead young people to have a legitimate question: is it OK to still have children?”

The newest billboards in New York City were erected by the Job Creators Network, a pro-business group founded by former Home Depot CEO Bernard Marcus, which recently called the lawmaker out with another billboard about Amazon’s attempt to bring its headquarters to the area, which Ocasio-Cortez outspokenly opposed.

The group has displayed seven billboards in the last two weeks Times Square aimed at Ocasio-Cortez, according to Reuters. A spokeswoman for the group indicated that they believe the proposed plan would be a disaster for the U.S. economy.
