In a video posted to Twitter last Friday, the same day that Muslim congresswoman Ilhan Omar came under fire again for antisemitism, British conservative activist Katie Hopkins implored Americans to wake up and recognize Omar for what she is and truly represents.
“America needs to wake up to Ilhan Omar. She’s changing right before your eyes. And there are three simple steps to the Islamification of politics. We’ve already lived it here in the U.K.,” she said.
Hopkins believes that the U.K. and other European nations that have been overly welcoming to Muslim refugees have become Islamified, i.e., Islamic culture has taken over, thus leading to the creation of “no-go zones,” the emergence of judicial rulings based on Sharia law and an uptick in crime.
“Number one: You have a voting bloc of people that are densely packaged together — the same community, Somali communities, Bangladeshi communities, four families living where one family used to live — and now you have them voting according to their religion, facilitated by their mosque,” she said.
“Funding can flow in. You have the Muslim housing association. We have a Muslim police association. We have events especially for the Muslim community of London. We have an EID celebration in the middle of London … paid for by the Muslim mayor of London to keep his voting bloc happy.”
“And once you have people voting according to their religion — funded by funding streams from God knows where — you’ll see the changes start to happen. You’re seeing them now,” Hopkins continued.
“For us, it means that we no longer have bikinis on as our undergarments because it would be offensive to some of the locals. It means that certain individuals can no longer come to our country because we don’t want to upset local communities. And it means that Asia Bibi, a Christian woman, was not given a place to stay in the U.K. because we don’t want to upset local communities.”

Bibi is a Christian Pakistani woman who spent years in prison awaiting a death sentence for committing blasphemy, up until a court overturned her conviction last year. The problem is that, while the Pakistani government doesn’t want her dead anymore, its constituents do.
In a bid to save her own life, last year she began appealing to world leaders to provide her with asylum. The U.K. reportedly denied her plea at the time out of fear that allowing her into the nation would spur unrest among its growing Muslim population.
“Once you have Islam in political power, your culture starts to change rapidly,” Hopkins continued. “You started this by allowing head coverings to be worn inside your positions of power. You’ve seen Ilhan Omar change from having this kind of modern-looking, exotic-looking, oh so fabulous [hijab] … in to now this darker and blacker head covering.”
“Now we’re coming out and speaking out against Israel. Now we’re saying that the president needs to be impeached. Now we’re standing by the socialist Maduro in Venezuela.”
“America needs to wake up to Ilhan Omar!” she concluded.
On the same day that Hopkins uploaded this rant, The New York Times reported that Omar is again in trouble for antisemitism as per remarks she’d made earlier in the week.
The video below shows her touting a conspiracy theory about her “Jewish colleagues”:
The video below shows her touting a trope about Jewish Americans possessing dual loyalty:
Such glaringly antisemitic rhetoric didn’t emerge until after Omar was elected into office by a predominantly Muslim community affiliated with high rates of Islamic terrorism.
While liberals would argue that Hopkins’ rhetoric is equally bigoted, the evidence does suggest that an influx of pious Muslim immigrants does often trigger an abundance of problems, including but not limited to more rapes, more robberies and even more murders.
And of course the Islamification of politics, as noted by social media users.

Again I have to say Katie is spot on here, How on earth did USA citizens let this individual get voted into political office. She needs to be removed from the country not just political arena.

You are fabulous Katie. Really appreciate everything you do and thank you for highlighting what is wrong in this country and the big wide world. Carry on, educate us all.

We are woken up. We just have a corrupt @FBI who protects criminals when they are politicians but also protect terrorist in our congress. It’s safe to say we may all be wearing yellow jackets soon like the French.

Americans are good people generally but are being infiltrated from within due to this very amicable characteristic.
