Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson appears to see a non-existent equivalence between President Donald Trump and the plantation masters in American history. He revealed as much while being peppered with questions by a TMZ reporter earlier this week following the Oscars on Sunday.
Asked first about Trump’s response to Hollywood director Spike Lee taking a veiled dig at him while speaking at the 2019 Academy Awards, Jackson said, “He’s too sensitive.”
When then asked to respond to the president’s claim that he’s done more for the black community than any other president, the actor said, “Yeah, because he has a bigger plantation.”
Listen:
Though TMZ claims the actor made these statements “sarcastically,” his history of anti-Trump remarks suggests otherwise. Last summer he attacked the president on his birthday.
And just last month he tweeted support to anti-Trump, Muslim congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, praising her for having referred to the president as a “motherf–ker” while speaking to her supporters.
“I just wanna wholeheartedly endorse your use of and clarity of purpose when declaring your motherf–king goal last week. Calling that Muthaf—-h a Motherf–ker is not an issue, calling that Muthaff—h President Is!!!” the actor wrote.

The actor’s plantation comparison, some black conservatives would argue that the only plantation that still exists in the contemporary age is the Democrat Party plantation.
According to the rules of this plantation, blacks and other minorities must remain loyal to the Democrat Party because to turn against it is to embrace white supremacy and become an “Uncle Tom.”
A big critic of this line of thinking is conservative commentator and political activist Candace Owens. Besides serving as the director of communications for the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, Owens is also the founder of the BLEXIT movement.
“For decades, the black community has been in an emotionally abusive relationship with the Democrat Party,” she said last October during the formal launching of BLEXIT.
“Our fidelity to leftist politicians coupled with our false belief that a larger government might facilitate solutions, has led to the overall collapse of our families, neighborhoods, and incidentally, our futures. BLEXIT is a national movement of minorities that have awakened to the truth. It is for those who have taken an objective look at our decades-long allegiance to the left and asked ourselves ‘what do we have to show for it?'”
Not much, save for increased racial tension, overwhelming unemployment (until recently), rampant crime and broken homes and families galore.

Owens and others with BLEXIT hope to inspire blacks and other minorities to discard their loyalty to the Democrat Party and try something new — something like Trump.
The president has presided over record unemployment, record wages and record economic growth, all to the benefit of minority communities.
His policies have been so beneficial to the black community in particular that Pastor Darrell Scott of the National Diversity Coalition for Trump boldly declared late last summer that Trump may very well be “the most pro-black President that we’ve had in our lifetime.”
“This administration has taken a lot of people by surprise. And it’s going to surprise you guys even more, because this is probably the most proactive administration regarding urban America and the faith-based community in my lifetime. And I’ll be 60 years old in December,” he said at a White House roundtable discussion about prison reform.
“This President actually wants to prove something to our community, our faith-based community and our ethnic community,” Scott added.
Listen:
He wasn’t wrong. The president has pardoned a 62-year-old black grandmother who’d been serving a life sentence for nonviolent drug-related offenses, signed an executive order that moved the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities from the Department of Education back to the White House to strengthen the office and spurred a dramatic drop in black unemployment via deregulation and tax cuts.
Given all that Trump has done for the black community, it’s difficult to understand why Jackson would compare him to a plantation master. It’s almost as if he’s so entrenched within the so-called Democrat plantation that he’s lost his grip on reality, according to social media:
@SamuelLJackson Democrats run the plantation and you are only a slave if you choose to be. #Blexit

@SamuelLJackson Trumps not the plantation owner. Democrats are. And you’ve been on their plantation your entire life. How the FK would you know any other difference? How stupid can you be to not recognize that the slave owner just changed what the plantation looked like.

@SamuelLJackson trump is a plantation owner?? Have you really taken some time to see how the Democrats are actually the plantation owners??! Open your eyes!! #LiberalismIsAMentalDisorder #TrumpDerangementSyndrome

@SamuelLJackson Samuel L. Jackson Compares Trump to Plantation Owner!
Oh I fully understand why you’re a Democrat, as look what they’ve given Black Americans: The KKK, PP to Kill their Babies, Common Core to dumb them down, and Entitlements to keep them on the Urban Plantation!

Actually, @SamuelLJackson you’ve been living on the democrat plantation for decades. But, perhaps you like giving them your votes so that they will continually validate your sense of victimhood. That allows you to escape individual responsibility.

Well that’s sad. A brother who made all his bread in white man’s Hollywood still living on the plantation. You had no problem with Trump b4 he was elected. But you keep working that divide and conquer for your white Democrat masters.
