CNN turns blind eye to Democrat Mary Ann Lisanti, who used N-word to describe black district

Democrat lawmaker Mary Ann Lisanti of Maryland apologized to the Legislative Black Caucus after she was allegedly caught referring to a majority-black county as a “n****r district.”

Witnesses claim they heard Lisanti make the racist slur in January 2019 while speaking to a white colleague at a bar in Annapolis, Maryland.

Left-Wing Media Silence Is Deafening

Darryl Barnes, chairman of the Legislative Black Caucus, said Lisanti apologized to the caucus multiple times.

“She apologized several times,” Barnes said. “She recognizes how she has hurt so many within the caucus, and she hoped to repent from this.

She said that she doesn’t remember fully what happened, but she recognizes what happened.”

Democrat Lisanti: Everyone Uses the N-Word!

Lisanti initially claimed that she didn’t remember using the racist slur. She later said that she probably used it because “everyone has used it.” (Actually, that’s not true.)

Mary Ann Lisanti has been a  member of the Maryland House of Delegates since 2014.

“I’m sure I have. I’m sure everyone has used it.”

Lisanti released a statement on February 26, saying she will undergo racial “sensitivity training.”

“I deeply apologize to the citizens of my district, people of Maryland, all of my colleagues in the Maryland General Assembly and everyone reading this for my word choice several weeks ago.

I am sickened that a word that is not in my vocabulary came out of my mouth. It does not represent my belief system, my life’s work or what is my heart.

Earlier today, I met with House Speaker Busch and agreed to step down from my leadership position [on the the Unemployment Insurance Subcommittee]. I also agreed to participate in sensitivity training.

I am sorry for the hurt I have caused and will do everything I can to help heal that pain and regain the trust of my colleagues and constituents. I pray for forgiveness.”

Of course, few high-profile Democrats have condemned Mary Ann Lisanti because she’s a fellow liberal. These are the same people that constantly shriek that President Trump and all his supporters are racist.

CNN and MSNBC Refuse to Cover Story

The silence from the race-baiting peanut gallery at CNN is deafening. As of this writing (on Wednesday), CNN has not written a single story about Lisanti saying the N-word.

Imagine the wall-to-wall coverage CNN would give this story if a Republican or a Trump supporter had used the racist slur.

CNN Race-Baiter Don Lemon Won’t Rebuke Lisanti

Also curiously silent is CNN’s chief race-baiting host, Don Lemon.

On Monday, Lemon did a segment where his guests condemned President Trump as a racist who “doesn’t see black people as human.”

Lemon has not commented on Democrat Mary Ann Lisanti derisively dismissing black people using the N-word.

Meanwhile, here’s what Don Lemon thinks about white people. But if you wear a MAGA hat, you’re the racist.

Here’s what CNN’s Humpty-Dumpty “media reporter” Brian Stelter has to say on the matter:
