Tucker explains how AOC became ‘the boss’ of the Dem Party: You ALMOST feel bad for Feinstein

Fox News host Tucker Carlson ripped into Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the cowardly Democrats who have allowed her to effectively become “the boss” of the Democratic Party.

Carlson noted in his monologue on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” how the self-proclaimed democratic socialist came armed with a plan, her Green New Deal, ready to “impose” upon Democrats who spent so much time attacking President Donald Trump the last two years that they were unprepared when they won back the majority in the House.

The Fox News host pointed to Ocasio-Cortez’s own words mocking critics while touting herself and the socialistic proposal to transform the American economy with an estimated cost of $93 trillion in its first decade, squeezing $600,000 per household.

“Oh, it’s unrealistic,” she said last week. “Oh, it’s vague. Oh, it doesn’t address this little minute thing,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And I’m like, ‘You try. You do it.’ Because you’re not. Because you’re not. So, until do you it, I’m the boss. How about that?”

Carlson mocked the plan and Democrats, saying the New York lawmaker “basically convinced the entire leadership of the Democratic Party to buy into this plan, to ratify it. It’s a perfect plan.”

‘There is only one downside. The plan, if enacted would cost, some estimate, more than the entire global GDP. Not the GDP [gross domestic product] of the United States, but the GDP of the world. It’s pretty expensive. But it doesn’t bother Ocasio-Cortez at all. She doesn’t care,” he said, noting the freshman congresswoman’s rant about how a “scientific consensus” proves children’s lives will be “very difficult” because of climate change.

“And it does lead, I think, young people to have a legitimate question. You know, should — is it okay to still have children?” she said in an Instagram Live video she posted Sunday.

“Is it okay to still have children? Well, I don’t know, Alexandria, can we? You are the boss now. If you say we can’t reproduce the species, of course, we won’t. It’s your call,” Carlson mocked in the segment Monday.

“My gosh. It’s a measure of how cowardly impassive everyone has become all of a sudden that a chorus of right-thinking Democrats hasn’t told this idiotic windbag to be quiet and take a seat. Don’t talk until you learn something. But of course nobody has done that, they are all too afraid of her,” he added.

The progressive-pushed resolution has divided the Democrat Party and led to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell pressing for a vote in hopes of further exposing the rift with Democrats while bringing GOP leaders together.

Democratic hopefuls including New Jersey’s Cory Booker, New York’s Kirsten Gillibrand, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Minnesota’s Amy Klobuchar and Vermont Independent Bernie Sanders have co-sponsored the resolution and have all voiced their support.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

Carlson posited that this is not typical politics but is, in fact, “a children’s crusade, an army of tiny combatants marching off in oversized clothes into an unknown, puffed up with ignorant self-righteousness.” He cited the recent example of Sen. Dianne Feinstein being confronted by elementary school-aged children at her San Francisco office last week as they pressed her to support the Green New Deal.

“You almost — almost — feel a little bad for Dianne Feinstein. This is not the politics that she joined,” Carlson concluded.

“She is not the future of the Democratic Party. Comrade Ocasio-Cortez is the future,” he said. “She may be arrogant and dumb, but on one point, she is absolutely right. She is the boss.”
