White House press secretary Sarah Sanders took to Twitter early Monday to mark the three year anniversary of signing on with President Donald Trump.
And what a tumultuous three years it has been for the mother of three young children.
“Three years ago today I signed on with President @realDonaldTrump. Many said he’d lose, but he won; then said he’d fail, but he’s succeeding. America is back and winning again thanks to the President’s strong leadership,” she tweeted.

Sanders came into her own when she replaced former press secretary Sean Spicer, as she quickly restored a sense of order amid the rabid media with her no-nonsense, take no prisoner style — under Spicer, daily press briefings had become an all-out scrum.
And while many in the press disliked Sanders, those who support the president reveled in her arrival.
Not that the road has been easy for her.
Perhaps the most egregious incident involving Sanders was when she and her family were kicked out of the Virginia restaurant The Red Hen because she works for Trump.
“Her actions say far more about her than about me,” Sanders said of the owner who asked her to leave. “I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.”

But who can forget Sanders having to sit there and endure being mocked for her appearance and called a liar at the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner, when alleged comedian Michelle Wolf ripped Sanders in a series of sexist, cringe-worthy attacks.
Sanders, sitting just a few feet away, was attending the event as a President Trump’s representative. Wolf’s disgusting actions may yet prove to be the death knell for the annual event.

And who can forget the many clashes Sanders has had with American Urban Radio Networks’ White House correspondent April Ryan, who does double duty as a CNN contributor?
Perhaps the most ridiculous display of contempt from Ryan coming as she insinuated that a photo of a holiday pie shared by Sanders was a fake — the story became known as “pie-gate.”

Not that Sanders doesn’t love her job dealing with the rabid hostility of the Trump-hating press.
She talked about dealing with “angry” reporters on a daily basis in a recent interview.
“This isn’t everybody, and I don’t want to generalize the crowd. But you see a lot of angry faces,” Sanders told CBN. “People that their sole purpose is to find this ‘gotcha’ moment, to catch you.”

Not only has Sanders proven to be more than up to the task of handling the media as many endeavor to destroy her boss, she does so with class and dignity.
Even as the hatred from the Trump Derangement Syndrome crowd continues to flow unchecked:

Amid the sea of hate, there were plenty of congratulatory tweets from social media users too.
Here’s a sampling of some of those responses:
Sarah you're the best. Keep up the good work dealing with these news children and congrats on your 3 year anniversary.
