AOC’s power-trip revs up as she tells critics, ‘We’re in charge’ and ‘I’m the boss.’ It’s not going over well.

New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocaso-Cortez’s latest power trip has many wondering whether she has the makings of a future Fidel Castro-styled socialist dictator.

During a town hall event Friday with Girls Who Code, the increasingly radical New York Democrat dismissed criticism of her widely panned “Green New Deal” on the basis that she’s the boss.

“You know what? I don’t care anymore. I don’t care anymore, because again, I’m at least trying, and they’re not. So the power is in the person who’s trying, regardless of the success. If you’re trying, you’ve got all the power, you’re driving the agenda, you’re doing all this stuff.”

“So people are like oh it’s unrealistic, oh it’s vague, oh it doesn’t address this little, minute thing. And I’m like you try, you do it. Because you’re not. So until you do it, I’m the boss. How about that?”

She was lying. Sen. Dianne Feinstein has released her own climate change proposal that’s far less ambitious but significantly more realistic. So the idea that nobody else is trying to solve the problem is another lie. AOC has thus far ignored the proposal and doubled down on her “I’m the boss” rhetoric.

“If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis. Until then, we’re in charge — and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats,” she tweeted later Friday evening.

So to recap, she’s the boss and anyone who disagrees with her radical and unrealistic agenda is a poor schlub sitting in “the cheap seats.” Isn’t this a form of poverty shaming?

It’s a sign of arrogance, at the very least, as noted by outspoken Hollywood actor James Woods. Some believe her rhetoric is also a sign that she’s a “wannabe dictator.”

Just to be clear, AOC was elected into office by 110,318 residents of New York’s 14th congressional district.

Yet despite representing just a tiny sliver of America, Ocasio-Cortez thinks she and she alone can resolve America’s alleged climate change crisis, all via her GND, which as a reminder calls for banning air travel, combustion-engine vehicles, nuclear energy, fossil fuel energy, meat, cow farts, etc.

Worse, the plan calls for transforming America into a full-fledged socialist state replete with free education, free healthcare, free housing and even free money for those who choose to not work.

Her plan is so overloaded with “weird identitarian socialist bullshit,” as far-left activist and journalist Tim Pool describes it, that even veritable Democrats like him can’t stand it.

“I’m all for environmentalism, I am all for social policy, and I made a video defending the ‘Green New Deal’ before it was published. Why? Because the idea of a massive overhaul — and yes, an increase in government programs — to revolutionize the energy sector and do better for the planet sounds like a badass f–king idea,” he said in a YouTube podcast Saturday.

“The problem is when they publish the ‘Green New Deal,’ they promise to pay people who are unwilling to work. … The second page talks about racial inequality, racial inequity, gender pay gaps, things that have absolutely nothing to do with anything.”

“The factsheet they release talked more about universal health care and education than it did for an actual ‘Green New Deal.’ These people are trying to emotionally manipulate us using fear
to pass things totally unrelated to environmentalism,” he added.

Exactly. As many have noted on social media, it’s as if AOC’s “Green New Deal” is nothing but a Trojan horse designed to transform America into the Communist/socialist “utopia”:

Except as renowned philosopher Ayn Rand once noted, there’s no such thing as a Communist/socialist utopia. There are all Communist/socialist hellholes.
