Chicago police say all the evidence suggests that “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett was not the victim of a racist hate crime by white Trump supporters, as he initially claimed.

In fact, all the evidence suggests that Smollett hired actors to stage the fake crime to promote an anti-Trump narrative ― which the media gleefully lapped up.

Evidence suggests that Smollett ― whose Twitter feed is filled with anti-Trump hatred dating back to 2011 ― paid $3,500 to two Nigerian brothers to stage a hoax attack, which he blamed on white Trump supporters.

Chicago police released the following statement on Feb. 16:

“We can confirm that the information received from the individuals questioned by police earlier in the ‘Empire’ case has, in fact, shifted the trajectory of the investigation. We’ve reached out to the ‘Empire’ cast member’s attorney to request a follow-up interview.”

Nigerian Brothers Bought 2 Red Hats

A police investigation shows that the two Nigerian brothers worked as extras on Smollett’s TV series “Empire.” The brothers’ names are Abimbola “Abel” and Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo.

Records also show that they bought the rope that was found around Smollett’s neck from a Chicago hardware store on January 25 ― four days before the alleged attack.

Police sources noted that the Nigerian brothers also purchased two plain red hats (resembling MAGA hats) at a local Chicago beauty supply store.

The Osundairo brothers told authorities that Smollett paid them $3,500 before they left for Nigeria (hours after the bogus attack on January 29) and were promised an additional $500 upon their return, CBS Chicago reported.

No Chicagoan Would Yell: ‘This Is MAGA Country!’

As BizPac Review reported, Jussie Smollett’s unbelievable story started to fall apart immediately, as the “facts” he presented did not appear credible from the jump.

Smollett claimed that on January 29, he was approached by two men who “yelled out racial and homophobic slurs” while attacking him. Specifically, Smollett claimed his imaginary assailants yelled: ‘Empire f**got! and ‘Empire n****.”

Smollett further claimed that one of the attackers tied a rope around his neck and poured bleach on him while yelling, “This is MAGA country!”

Keep in mind that Smollett claimed this attack happened in Chicago ― a liberal city which has not had a Republican mayor since 1931. The idea that anyone would consider Chicago “MAGA Country” was the first laughably suspicious “factoid” that drew skepticism from Trump supporters.

Another odd claim Smollett made was that the imaginary Trump supporters who attacked him identified him as an actor from the hip-hop TV show “Empire.” The statistical odds that any Trump supporter actually knew who Jussie Smollett was (or were fans of “Empire”) are comically minuscule.

Jussie Smollett was an obscure actor who starred on the hip-hop TV show “Empire” from 2015 until February 2019.

Even though Smollett tried to gain public sympathy by playing the victim, he led a very privileged life — earning $125,000 an episode on his hit TV show.

Smollett Denies He Staged Crime, Despite Evidence

Through his attorney, Smollett denied that he paid the two Nigerian brothers to stage a fake hate crime, and insisted that he is still a victim:

“As a victim of a hate crime who has cooperated with the police investigation, Jussie Smollett is angered and devastated by recent reports that the perpetrators are individuals he is familiar with.

He has now been further victimized by claims attributed to these alleged perpetrators that Jussie played a role in his own attack. Nothing is further from the truth and anyone claiming otherwise is lying.”

Media and ‘Celebrities’ Rushed to Judgment

Predictably, countless celebrities and politicians issued statements condemning the fake “racist and homophobic” attack on Smollett in their bids to smear these hateful imaginary Trump supporters.

Even black nationalists mocked Smollett’s desperate PR stunt. Good job, Jussie!

Birds of a feather flock together: Smollett is a superfan of race-baiting Democrat Kamala Harris.

Democrat Al Green: Donald Trump must be impeached as penance for ‘slavery’
