Following President Donald Trump’s well-received State of the Union address Tuesday evening, the oftentimes irrational and almost always outraged left-wing half of the Twitterverse became awash in conspiracy theories about his daughter Tiffany and the fitted white dress she wore.

Because a number of Democrat women purposefully wore white outfits to the SOTU address to make a “Nasty Woman“-equivalent political statement against the president and the Republican Party, Twitter’s far-leftists automatically speculated that Tiffany wore white to show solidarity with them.

But the evidence suggests that Tiffany’s choice in attire had nothing to do with the Democrats..

Her Twitter feed is teeming with retweets celebrating her father’s accomplishments:

Second, Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend, former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, also wore a white dress to the SOTU address, and she’s certainly not a member of the so-called “Resistance”:

Sometimes a dress is just a dress. In the case of the Democrat women who wore white, however, their dresses were total wardrobe malfunctions, in the opinion of many social media users.

Why? Because their political statement coincided with the stunning publication just last week of an old yearbook photo from the early 1980s that allegedly shows Democrat Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam wearing either blackface or a Ku Klux Klan outfit, i.e., a white robe and hood.

Because of the coincidental and quite ironic timing, the right-wing half of the Twitterverse became awash not in conspiracy theories, but rather hilarious memes and sarcastic comments.

Look:

So why exactly did they wear white? To stand up against the GOP’s alleged attempts to roll back women’s rights, according to House Democrat Women’s Working Group chair Lois Frankel:

“I’m looking forward to wearing suffragette white to #SOTU next week with all @HouseDemWomen! We’ll honor all those who came before us & send a message of solidarity that we’re not going back on our hard-earned rights!” she tweeted last week.

To be clear, nobody in the Republican Party is interested in rolling back women’s rights. Many, including the president, are however greatly interested in protecting the rights of the unborn.
