CNN’s S.E. Cupp’s mad at Kellyanne Conway for turning tables … ‘dumb crap diminishing real sexism’

S.E. Cupp appears to covet the attention garnered by other notorious Trump-haters, who sold what little soul they may have had to the gods of cable news in exchange for being paraded out as willful Republicans eager to bash all things Trump.

Seemingly taking her lead from liberal sources like Newsweek and Huffington Post, the host of CNN’s “Unfiltered” took exception to what amounted to a throwaway line from White House counselor Kellyanne Conway in response to Sen. Cory “Spartacus” Booker, D-N.J., declaring his intention to run for presidential — Conway mocked Democrats for the impossible double standard they subject Republicans to on a daily basis.

Cupp first pointed to the Republican Party’s 2016 presidential field that featured just one woman, Carly Fiorina.

“I know Kellyanne is just having fun gaslighting America, seeing what insane lies she can get us to believe,” she harrumphed. “But it’s dumb crap like this that diminishes real sexism and makes people less likely to believe women when we say sexism is real.”

Not finished, she then lectures us on “actual sexism.”

“It’s her go-to critique. By the time this is over, I’ll be sexist, too,” Cupp said. “The only thing worse than actual sexism is a woman who uses sexism to shut up her critics.”

Of course, we know Conway’s real crime in the eyes of the TDS cabal is that she opts to work for President Trump.

Conway’s remarks came during an appearance Friday on “Fox & Friends” — likely her second offense in the eyes of some, considering it may be President Trump’s favorite show.

“I would ask him a couple questions today as he runs from my native New Jersey,” she said. “One is, ‘what is wrong with the candidates that are already in there? What is your objection to Kamala Harris running, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, these others who have already announced, Tulsi Gabbard, maybe?”

“If he were a Republican running against them, they would immediately call him a sexist for running against these women in the Democratic field,” she deadpanned, before proceeding to shoot serious holes in Booker’s qualifications.

“I would also ask him what exactly have you accomplished that qualifies you to be commander-in-chief and president of the United States?” Conway said, before noting his record as mayor of Newark.

“I think people should go and look at his record in Newark, New Jersey. Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, about eight or nine years ago, gave $200 million in matching funds to Newark for its school system and a whole bunch of that, millions and millions of dollars, went to politically-connected consulting firms,” she said.

Conway also took to Twitter to call out the double standard, linking to a Washington Examiner article on her remarks.
