With shutdown looming Pelosi ignores Border wives, but reportedly makes room for elite star-studded event

Though she — like other liberal Democrat politicians — portrays herself as a champion of the people, nearly every one of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s actions and words paint an entirely different picture.

Take for instance her refusal earlier this month to meet with Angel Moms:

Yet the same woman who refused to meet with “Angel Moms” and who has thus far ignored an invitation from the wives of U.S. Border Patrol agents to travel to the southern U.S. border and “see what’s happening first hand” has managed to make time in her schedule for Hollywood.

“Away from Washington, DC, Rep. Nancy Pelosi will hobnob with music elite on Grammy weekend, we hear,” Page Six reported Monday. “The House’s Democratic speaker is among guests expected at Clive Davis’ annual pre-awards gala. The mogul is getting offers as high as $100,000 per table to attend.”

Davis is a high-powered music industry executive, reportedly worth $850 million, who hosts a lavish pre-Grammy gala every year before the highly anticipated Grammy Awards show.

This year multimillionaire House Diva Nancy Pelosi will reportedly be in attendance alongside a bevy of other multimillionaires, including singers/performers Jamie Foxx, Post Malone, Diplo, Alice Cooper, Marc Anthony, Berry Gordy and Smokey Robinson.

It won’t be her first pre-Grammy foray.

Look closely at the photo below:

Snapped during the 2017 Grammys-eve party, the photo depicts Pelosi posing like a Hollywood starlet alongside actual stars such as Neil Diamond, Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige.

“Pelosi, it turns out, is a regular guest at the Beverly Hilton hotel shindig, which is known in the music biz as the most-coveted invite of all the Grammy parties,” The Washington Post reported at the time.

House Diva indeed …

The trend of Democrat politicians — never Republican ones — attending such high-profile Hollywood events reportedly began during former President Barack Hussein Obama’s time in office.

Six years ago then-first lady Michelle Obama made a surprise appearance at the 8th Academy Awards — via a live video feed, mind you — to award the film “Argo” with a best picture prize.

Watch:

Three years later then-Vice President Joe Biden — a man known for inappropriately touching and groping young girls and women — made an appearance at the 88th Academy Awards to deliver a speech about the non-epidemic of sexual assault on college campuses.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

Regarding Pelosi’s expected appearance at Clive Davis’ annual pre-awards gala, it’s attracted widespread criticism from those who believe the House speaker should be negotiating with President Donald Trump about border security versus partying with multimillionaires.

Unless a deal is panned out before Feb. 15, chances are the government will be shut down again — and hundreds of thousands of struggling federal workers will again be out of work and money.

Look:

Apparently, the answer to the latter question is no — to house Diva Nancy Pelosi, meeting with the wives of the men who place their lives at risk daily protecting the southern U.S. border isn’t more important than hobnobbing with Hollywood’s wealthy elite.

Sad …
