Republican Congressman Mark Meadows suggested that newbie Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez take a deep breath before acting like she can solve all the problems of the nation after being in office for just four weeks.
At a meeting of the House Oversight Committee yesterday, Meadows asked its Democrat chairman, Elijah Cummings, to provide three to five days’ notice for Democratic lawyers’ questioning of witnesses so that he and other lawmakers could sit in on the sessions.
This is because many lawmakers do not live close to Washington, and have to schedule airplane flights and make other travel plans ahead of time to sort out their schedules.
AOC Thinks She Runs DC After 4 Weeks In Office
Ocasio-Cortez inserted herself by saying she doesn’t “believe we need five days” notice if everyone were doing their jobs (video below).
Mark Meadows ignored the newbie Alexandria — who has been a Congresswoman for less than a month — and addressed Chairman Cummings in his retort:
“Mr. Chairman, I can tell you on all of this at this particular point, we’re all wanting to cooperate.
Sometimes our schedules, you know, we’re not just sitting around eating bonbons, waiting for the call of anybody. There’s complex scheduling.”
Cummings responded by saying he would try his best to give the advanced notice that Meadows sought, but this isn’t always possible.

Even Liberals Diss AOC’s Vacuousness
Self-proclaimed socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has drawn outsized media attention as the “new face” of the far-left Democrat Party, presumably because she’s young and cute.
However, Ocasio-Cortez is not handling the attention well, and often childishly lashes out when the media criticize her ignorance of politics, world affairs, and basic economics.

Even other liberals, like potential 2020 presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg, is annoyed with Ocasio-Cortez’s cluelessness:
“A lot of elected officials have embraced the idea of a Green New Deal, and that’s great. It’s become fashionable to do so, but I think it’s time as a party that we started putting some meat on the bone and laying out exactly how a green new deal should — what it should include.
I’m a little bit tired of listening to things that are pie in the sky that we never are going to pass, never going to afford. I think it’s just disingenuous to promote those things. You’ve got to do something that’s practical.”
Ocasio-Cortez Suffers From Persecution Complex
Three weeks ago, Ocasio-Cortez whined on Twitter, claiming Republican lawmakers booed her when she flip-flopped on her promise to vote against Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House. (Note: They didn’t.)
“Don’t hate me cause you ain’t me.” That’s what the former bartender tweeted in response.
Over 200 members voted for Nancy Pelosi today, yet the GOP only booed one: me.

Before being elected a US congresswoman from New York, Ocasio-Cortez had an illustrious career as a bartender. This is the future leader of the Democrat Party.
Remember that the party’s outgoing leader, Barack Obama, was a “community organizer” before being elected a senator. He later went on to become president and is a revered icon in liberal circles despite a glaring lack of accomplishment other than arming Iran.

Here’s the irony of ironies: A former bartender saying a billionaire businessman whose company employs 277,000 people around the world should “work his way up” before running for president.

AOC asks why billionaires like Howard Schultz don’t have to “work their way up.”
Howard Schultz:
- Grew up poor, in a Brooklyn housing project.
- Was the first in his family to go to college.
- Sold copiers for Xerox after college.
- Then he founded Starbucks.
Well, Schultz was the first in his family to go to college. His father was a truck driver. He lived in public housing as a child.
After college, he started as a Xerox salesman…
Need I go on, or have I embarrassed the always-ignorant but doesn't care about it AOC enough? https://t.co/A8DgBNCVa6
