NBC News rushes to prop up ‘victim’ workers fired by Trump golf club for fake docs and it’s a new low in journalism

President Donald Trump’s battle for a wall to enhance border security isn’t just with obstructionist Democrats looking to pander to the Hispanic voting bloc, but with the party’s many allies in the mainstream media who are simpatico with Pelosi and Co.

This was apparent in an egregious NBC Nightly News report on Trump’s businesses knowingly hiring illegal immigrants. A segment designed to not only discredit the president’s hard line stance on immigration, but build sympathy for those in the US illegally.

As for evidence, NBC News presented the opinion of a fired worker who came to the U.S. illegally from Mexico.

Gabriel Sedano, who was employed as a maintenance worker at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York, before being fired last week, appeared on camera to say he and his wife presented forged green cards and Social Security cards.

“They didn’t ask any questions,” NBC News correspondent Kate Snow asked.

This being a double-edged sword for businesses. If Hispanic applicants are scrutinized, businesses are accused in the media of being racists, and if they don’t the same media paints them as being sympathetic to illegal aliens working in the US.

And Sedana and his wife confirm on camera that the Trump club does go through the process of confirming workers are here legally by requiring the documentation.

Even more outrageous, Snow asked the illegal aliens on camera if anyone at the Trump Golf Club “directed” them to get false documents.

She then asked Sedano, a low-level maintenance worker, if he “thinks” the Trump staff knew his documents were false.

“That’s what I think, because they need employees and they don’t check really good,” he told Snow.

But NBC didn’t stop there. The network noted that Sedano spoke with Trump a time or two before saying he “suspects the president also knew there were undocumented workers on staff.”

“I cannot be sure about that but he gotta know,” Sedano said. “He must know.”

And that’s what a major news organization in America presents to support not a news piece, but an advocacy piece designed to disparage the president of the United States and his policies.

Topping things off, NBC News presents a lawyer who calls the Trump Enterprise “a criminal organization,” claiming there is a “federal crime” and the fired illegal aliens are “material witnesses.”

You can’t make this stuff up, and folks wonder why so many see the media as little more than fake news?

The year 2019 may be looked back upon in the years to come as the year journalism died in America.

A statement to NBC News from the president’s son, Eric Trump, was shared.

“We have tens of thousands of employees across our properties and have very strict hiring practices,” Trump said. “If any employee submitted false documentation in an attempt to circumvent the law, they will be terminated immediately. We take this issue very seriously. This is one of the reasons my father is fighting so hard for immigration reform. The system is broken.”
