Cocky Illegal immigrants featured in new documentary taunt ICE to meet them at Sundance premier

Not only do two cocky illegal aliens plan to attend the Sundance Film Festival from Jan. 24 to Feb. 3 in Park City, Utah, but they’ve essentially dared the Trump administration to try and stop them.

“I welcome any retaliation by the Trump Administration,” criminal alien Mohammad Abdollahi, who plans to attend the festival to watch the premier of a documentary that features footage of him and his friend, flagrantly boasted to The Hollywood Reporter this week.

“We’ve come to understand that the more out there in the open we are, the safer we are. If I were to get detained by immigration, I would rather be a phone call away from a large community of people than to be in the shadows and have no one to support me,” he said, referencing pro-criminal Hollywood.

“So, while it’s always a risk, I think it’s a risk that we have to take.”

The Hollywood Reporter notes that Abdollahi, who’s advocated on behalf of criminal alien interests for 10 years, intends to drive to Utah with Viridiana Martinez, another illegal alien.

The left-leaning outlet laughably laments that the outspoken duo is “risking their ability to remain in the United States in order to attend the festival.” There was no mention in THR’s report of the countless lives that are placed at risk daily because of America’s growing crime-prone illegal immigrant crisis at the border.

Perhaps they are as indifferent to the suffering of American citizens as CNN commentator Ana Navarro?

It’s also unclear why Abdollahi is still even in the states, given his excursions in the public spotlight. Nine years ago he and his pals protested outside the late Sen. John McCain’s office to demand he sponsor legislation that’d give them a pathway to citizenship:

He even spoke with the media about it:

The difference is that back then Barack Hussein Obama was in office. And though it’s true Obama deported some criminal aliens, he was mostly in favor of giving illegals amnesty.

It was he who in fact created the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which allowed criminal aliens like Abdollahi who were brought here as children to remain in the United States indefinitely.

And it was likewise President Donald Trump who began phasing-out DACA in 2017 up until the left-wing courts stepped in to stop him. Though a judge later ruled that DACA is likely unconstitutional, the program continues to run as the ongoing litigation continues.

Dovetailing back to Abdollahi, what’s absolutely amazing —  though not surprising — is the lack of gratitude he feels toward Obama, who as a reminder made it legal for him to stay here.

“I think the mind-set that the Trump Administration is worse on immigration is very harmful,” he complained. “I remember in 2009-10 when President Obama was deporting thousands of young people just like myself, and we had to fight tooth and nail in order to get ourselves protected.”

“And all of the worst policies that exist to this day came about during the Clinton Administration. Trump is just building a monster of a system on the foundation that was built by Democrats.

Ouch!

HERE’S WHAT YOU’RE MISSING …

This sort of appalling ungratefulness is a staple among criminal aliens.

There was another revelation hidden in The Hollywood Reporter’s piece. The outlet noted something that Alex Rivera, the co-creator of the documentary Abdollahi is featured in, said:

“ICE seems to be pretty occupied these days with kidnapping children and terrorizing parents seeking refuge at the border. However, if they did make an appearance in Park City, I would follow the leadership of the undocumented community who’s been facing these kinds of threats for decades now.”

Remarking about this “leadership of the undocumented community,” Matt Philbin of NewsBusters pointed out that, “So there’s an ‘undocumented community’ with ‘leadership’ and everything? ICE really should figure out where it is. Might make its job easier.”

Indeed.
