Fresh off their embarrassing bus tour after their planned “excursion” to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan was “postponed” by President Trump on Thursday, Rep. Nancy Pelosi and a Democratic delegation were treated to news that the president’s wife was on her way to Palm Beach, Florida… on a government plane.

Reports came in Thursday afternoon that Mrs. Trump was en route to the couple’s Florida resort aboard a U.S. Air Force plane.

The plane, marked the EXEC1F, landed at Palm Beach International Airport while back in Washington, D.C., angry Democrats reacted to the president pulling the plug on the use of U.S. military planes for their travels.

The House Speaker and the group of Democrats were already aboard the bus that would shuttle them to the airfield for the trip as Trump’s cancellation was announced Thursday following Pelosi’s letter suggesting he delay his State of the Union address until the government full re-opens.

The president didn’t exactly cancel the trip, just the mode of transportation.

“Your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed…if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative,” Trump wrote.

Photos surfaced of Pelosi’s luggage sitting in the office hall in Congress as reaction poured in to Trump’s latest move in the battle of the border wall funding. The first lady’s travel amid the brouhaha created another wave of reaction from the triggered left.

But amid the predictable hate-filled attacks against the first lady for flying out to Palm Beach, others on Twitter pointed out the flaws in the arguments.
