The Los Angeles Unified School District punished an employee who allegedly made a what was interpreted as a racist statement to striking teachers in the district.
The racist statement apparently being, “Build the wall”?
It happened Wednesday morning at South Gate Middle School.
Annette Arvizu, an 18-year LAUSD employee, was blocked from leaving South Gate Middle School by striking teachers, reportedly dues to prior tensions, Fox 11 Los Angeles reported — the teachers went on strike Monday demanding higher wages and smaller class sizes.
A video captured the confrontation, and Arvizu is heard saying, “I’m so glad you guys aren’t being paid. I’m getting paid.”
“Build the wall! All you guys wouldn’t be here,” she added, going so far as to give the teachers a middle finger.

It may be understandable if legal residents in Los Angeles are frustrated by illegal immigration.
According to a 2017 Pew Research Center analysis, nearly 10 percent of ALL illegal immigrants in the US reside in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
“The region is home to 1 million such immigrants, second only to the greater New York area, which has 1.2 million,” the Los Angeles Times reported.
And a recent “shock” poll showed that Trump support among Latino voters has skyrocketed since the partial government shutdown:

But the school district had no patience for this frustration.
“This behavior is inexcusable and directly contradicts the mission and values of the Los Angeles Unified School District,” LAUSD said in a statement, according to the Fox affiliate. “The employee has been removed from the assigned campus. Los Angeles Unified is conducting a full investigation into the incident.”
We're aware of an incident that took place at a school in South Gate. This behavior is inexcusable and directly contradicts the mission and values of @LASchools. The employee has been removed from her assigned campus. LA Unified is conducting an investigation into the incident.

Having already determined that her actions were “inexcusable,” what’s the point of an investigation?
But then, as Democrats have already proven in America, when falling short of their political agenda, one is guilty until proven innocent — just ask Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Arvizu told Fox 11 that she is being asked to resign.
