Former Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan slammed “disgusting” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her efforts to thwart the State of the Union address.

Discussing the stalled debate over border wall funding that precipitated the nearly four-week long government shutdown, Homan and the “Fox & Friends” co-hosts turned to Pelosi’s latest stunt to delay the annual address by President Donald Trump.

Pelosi sent Trump a letter Wednesday recommending he move the State of the Union address until after the partial government shutdown ends or else submit his speech in writing instead.

The California Democrat cited security surrounding the event and the fact that U.S. Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security employees have not been paid amid the shutdown.

Her points that were debunked by senior law enforcement officials and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

“What do you say to Nancy Pelosi?” co-host of “Fox & Friends” Steve Doocy asked the former director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Wednesday.

“She’s disgusting,” Homan said simply, eliciting laughter and applause from the live in-studio audience.

“She is scared to death that the president is going to speak straight to the American people, more than eight minutes, and explain the crisis at the border,” Homan said.

“If Nancy Pelosi saw what I saw in the 34 years of my career, maybe she’s have a different attitude,” he added. “When you entice people to come to this country illegally because you push sanctuary cities, you want to abolish ICE…that entices people to come to this country. ”

Homan noted the border debate is not just about security and American sovereignty, but is about “saving lives” since liberal policies and promised sanctuary, jobs, free healthcare and education entice migrants to make the perilous journey to the U.S. border.

“I’ve seen many people die on this journey,” Homan said. “So it’s not just about protecting the sovereignty of this country and enforcing laws. It’s about saving lives for a vulnerable population that are being misled.”
